My thyroid checked out fine, and my weight loss is simply stemming from the fact that I find it find it difficult to eat and swallow food that has no taste. I may have to live with this, I think; given the choice between heart disease (which killed my grandfather) and enjoying food, I think I'll have to choose the former.
When you can't sleep from the withdrawals, I've been told that Trazadone is a good choice for sleep because it isn't a controlled substance, etc. What is the story with this medication?
Lisinpril can cause a chronic cough and you should stop this medication to see how the cough changes. It may be replaced with valsartan or candesartan which do not usually cause this side effect. The verapamil usually does not cause this side effect. This may not be related to your medications, and chronic cough or ' bronchial asthma' may actually be cardiac in nature ( e.g. CHF). Make sure your physician takes this other consideration into account.
Brilinta is a very potent anticoaguation medication. I would be very hesistant to go for the second option (and the surgeon too, I guess).
Stopping intake of Brilinta (at least 1 week) before surgery can be risky two months after the laser procedure although there is not much data on the time a patient really needs the anticoagulation after stent placement/cleaning. So hesistant for first option too.
Wait longer is risky because 6.4cm is huge already.

What I don't understand is why your doctor didn't explain this to you. Especially if you are prone to anxiety, the not knowing only makes it worse.

What I would really like to know is whether there is such a thing where I would need to take the medication for a certain amount of time before it starts working? And would there be ANYTHING that would cause the prickly, tingling symptom other than herpes? Since these symptoms would be classifed under assymptomatic shedding sould I assume that I will be contagious on a daily basis?
Hi......nothing sounds crazy when it comes to anxiety! If we googled every medication out there we would never take anything due to side effects. But if one person in a million has a side effect, they have to list it but it doesn't mean it will happen to you. Xanax sound like the perfect medication for you because i'ts used on an as needed basis, but only a doctor can tell you this for sure. It's widely used with great success!
