s status being unknown, PEP having been taken (all doses were taken except for one morning or evening of Kaletra - he never realised he missed it, and only knows because he had 2 extra pills of Kaletra at the end...all Truvada were taken), and me being the one who penetrated - would this fall under risky behaviour and be worthy of PEP for myself?
What if I wait until latest Tuesday (48hrs) until he has his results - if they are negative, are they reliable enough that I can stop worrying myself?
He says he was infected 6 years ago and has been Undetectable and a count of 350 for a long time. He has a partner for about 5 years that is negative and they are sexually active with eachother.
When I found out I went to the hospital and they gave me a HIV test and it came up negative. They started me on PEP medicine (this is about 4 hours after exposure). I was given Viread 300mg 1 tablet a day and Combivir 300 mg 1 tablet twice a day.
I started taking Truvada on Monday afternoon 3pm because the nurse told me to do so. Then she asked me to make a schedule of taking this drug together with Kaletra. I then scheduled to take them 7am and 7pm: 1 Truvada and 2 Kaletra at 7am while 2 Kaletra at 7pm. Yesterday, I took 1 Truvada at 7am but since I was in a hurry after dinner, I accidentally took one more Truvada last night. I tried to vomit it up but I was able to vomit only a part (dissolved part) of it.

I'm currently taking PEP and have a few questions to ask about it:
I do a lot of sport and have to do a lot of very intense exercising such as running, weight lifting. Is it ok for me to carry on with this while on PEP? (I must stress that it's very intense exercise)
Also I take vitamin tablets, vitamin C, multi-vitamin/mineral tablets and omega 3 or cod liver oil tablets. Is it ok if carry on with this?
it says on the pack of combivir to take them every 12 hours.
, after asking how did she know, she said in San Francisco she used it before for PEP. Four months ago i had a condom break on me on a girl with her period that had unknown status and dr put me on Combivir with Kaletra, and i stopped after 10 days when the girl showed me her test result. I did a test 1 month ago and i was negative, and now i am in the same spot. I already started on the Combivir every 12 hours and the kaletra every 12 hours i have left...
Please Dr, what are my chances of risk?

Last weekend (Saturday night - Sunday morning) I stupidly allowed myself to have unprotected aggressive-anal and passive/aggressive-oral sex. About an hour after I found out that the person has sex with people that have HIV. The person tried to assure me that they were clean, had an HIV test last March that came back negative, and that I was the first person they had sex with since November (as if March 2011 to November conveniently doesn't matter).
I also had brief unprotected oral sex before the protected vaginal sex (she performed fellatio on me for 10 seconds maximum) This woman is american of dominican and dutch ethnicity and from miami florida. We had sex and I changed codoms twice (3 condoms used total).
Before I put the first condom on i did not touch her vagina, but she was dry so i smeared lube on the front of her vagina (no insertion of fingers).
Consider it punishment for being total idiots with our bodies and our sex lives. This is a huge opportunity for you to think very hard about self destructive behavior. I know I did. And if appropriate, its also a good time to reconnect with your faith.
You may have bodywide rash or other HIV looking symptoms. Dont stress over these. Kaletra and Combivir can both cause a bunch of HIV looking symptoms. Just keep with the meds, and manage symptoms.
t found pregnant 3 days ago because of all the meds that were administered to me) and my husband (who also happens to be a physician) is convinced it is so highly unlikely if not impossible that I had contracted anything based on what happened that he wants us to try again once the 28 days therapy is over. Added to his arguments is the fact he knows so many MDs to which this and even much worse has happened who are in the clear.
At first, I thought it was likely I was experiencing side effects of the PEPs(kaletra/combivir) but ive been off the PEPs for 3 weeks now. My Question is, what is the likelyhood of me not being infected with the virus? In all honestly the chances of all this happening by some coincedence right after a extremly questionable sexual encounter is too far fetch for me to believe and I have essentially diagnosed myself with the virus even though my 90 day test is October 16th.
