ve been seeing an allergist because my allergies have really bothered me this year. He prescribed a medicine that is a nasal spray called Astelin. I hope I don't seem 'weird' asking his but have any of you been on one of these type of nasal sprays while having Hep C? If so, did you feel worse using the spray? I've been on it two days and it's making the area of my liver hurt and also in between my shoulder blades.

I've been having issues with my ears and my sinuses. This has been bothering me since April. Sounds like an eustachian tube issue.

I am ok during the day, when my throat momentarily clogs, the phlegm bubble pops and I am fine, but at night my brain is convinced I am drowing and all sorts of things apparently happen, namely I wake up with the fight or flight sensation, when this happens 4 or 5 times over a 20 minute period sleep, anxiety takes over and sleep is over, I can go days without sleep, then back back to the doctor for mor narcotics.

In Aug, my PCP referred me to ENT and suggested to add Astelin for treating me persistent rhinitis. I did an allergy blood test for 13 kinds of environmental allergen but it’s negative.
I did ask my PCP if I am having asthma. She said it’s only an allergy.
However, she said I need to keep taking/refilling Flonase & Singulair for long-term, and keep my Albuterol handy. My PCP said I can use the inhaler if I cough a lot at night, feeling short of breathe or wheezing.
