I posted this under Diabetes because that is what my doc thinks its relative to . I am always thirsty and constantly drinking and going to the bathroom all day . I will go through 6- 8 cups of coffee--and about 2 gallons of water during a normal day . My sugar tests always come back under 120 . Docs have done many blood tests and say I have mild Diabetes and have me on Metamorphin I believe it is . It is very frustrating but sometimes I drink fluids until I am ready to burst.
No significant health problems other than mild hypertension treated with Avalide. My potassium was low (I think due to the HCTZ in the Avalide). I don't drink, smoke or take any recreational drugs. I saw a neurologist, who says the MRI is normal, EEG is not (temporal lobe irregularities). He's on vacation...I'm traveling alot and can't see him for another 2 weeks. Is this a problem I need to see someone about before then?
Recently I was given biaxin by my family doctor not aware of the possible interaction and I began to retain after only two of them. Since then I have not been able to get my blood pressure under control again. I was on avalide, toprol xl, procardia xl along with the norpace and had to take potassium because it would go too low for the norpace. I have not been able to take avalide since the episode and am now on Avapro which works bettermost of the time than using avalide.
Hello. I saw a sand like material in my urine this morning. I have seen this a few times before. What is this material? Should I be concerned? I was able to get sample. I have no pain, and I've seen no blood. I am a 55y/o male.
Hello, I’ve had high blood pressure since I’ve been a teen quite stable at 160/80 I’m now 27 years old and have been on medication for 2 years now… I started with avopro 150mg I went down to about 145/70, then they changed my medication to avalide 300/12.
That does sound odd since many people take Verapamil to slow/control their tachycardia episodes. You could ask a pharmacist since they're trained to under how various medications work. Plus, if your heart rate is always around 102 - especially at rest, then you need to see a cardiologist. There are other things that might raise your rate (obesity or thyroid problems) but I assume your PC would have addressed these already.
The doctors have not been very helpful, except to scare me to death and cause confusion as to what I should do to correct this problem. The condition is most certainly caused from long term use of steroids. My life feels like it's falling apart because I am craving steroids now due to my stopping the steroids just 2 months ago. I need some advice on how to get my testoterone back to normal levels without damaging my heart any further.
Another weird addiction is I have become addicted to making myself throw up which I do several times a day. I get a sensation like I am purging out my anxiety and stress in a way which I don't understand. I want to stop all these things but I can't. I have bad panic attacks daily and have developed a phobia of having a heart attack since I have been diagnosed with high blood pressure.
I was newly diaganosed with atrial fibrillation. I do not know very much infomation about the heart problem. I was wondering If anyone who just started going through the same exact problem could tell me some informaiton about Atrial Fibrillaiton. I was also wondering what preventative measures that I can take so I do not have any more problems with the atrial part of the heart is there a medicine or some sort of diet that I can get on to prevent any more symptoms.
Ia your kidney function normal? Was you bradycardia and isolated event. Did you have any symptoms? Do you reside at that home all of the time. If you didnt have symptoms and that was an isolated event, your physician may lean towards continuing you on atenolol. It really is the gold standard for what he is trying to accomplish which is to protect your "moderately concentrically hypertrophied" ventricle from increasing in size from over work.
Check out if he is upset by anything in his life has anything new happened , a move a new Baby ,a loss of any Family member,very often there have been happenings that have triggered the behavior, what do his Teachers say, does he get on with them , does he like school.No point in punishing him unless you know what has caused it .
