Avatar n tn So, likely no. But if a doctor prescribed them for you, you could offer your unused pills to the doctor to give to someone else that he/she is prescribing it for. Some doctors are interested in that, some aren't. Typically though, they won't take pills back and there is not a satisfaction guaranteed situation with medications. So, it didn't work for you? What happened, was it side effects or it wasn't effective at treating your ibs?
329994 tn?1301663248 Thank you for answering my post. I appreciate that and I am certainly glad that it is working for you. I will keep that in consideration. As I said, I am very nervous to take this pill. I have heart problems so wasn't thrilled with the side effects that I was reading and wanted to hear from others that had taken it. Thank you!
Avatar f tn I used suboxone for an opiate addiction as well. So this part is true....but is he still taking the subs? If not, it sounds like heroin to me. This could easily be where all of your $$ is going. Just out of curiosity, what type of test does he have that would not test for commen drugs?

Avatar m tn There is pain with diverticulosis, my brother in law had that and was in agony. My son has Crohns and my symptoms are nothing like his. As for anything going up there is out of the question. What about a virtual colonoscopy which is done by scanning. I have been watching my diet for years, no green vegetable, no leafy vegetable, carbonated drinks i let go flat before drinking.
1765695 tn?1313669583 There are vitamins specially formulated to emphasize the ones most beneficial for hair. The best is probably Ultra Hair by Nature's Plus, but there are several. Most are for hair, skin and nails combined. As for texture, rosemary oil can be very beneficial. Aubrey makes a good one. Shea and cocoa butters are also beneficial, but gooey! A chinese herb called Fo Ti, or Shen Min, is good for hair, but mostly for thinning hair.

Avatar f tn Why would someone undergoing treatment need rescue drugs? What are the rescue drugs for and do you have to stop treatment if you need them? My sister lives alone but I am only 2 miles from her. So I can help her as much as I'm able to.
Avatar n tn Well, its most common use is for anxiety - which is fairly common for people with ADHD. You can read more about it here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propranolol What I don't understand is why your doctor didn't explain this to you. Especially if you are prone to anxiety, the not knowing only makes it worse.

1123227 tn?1259627086 This website is obviously one. I am dealing with certain internal issues that I don't understand and want to know what free resources are there available for me to discover what it is I'm going through. Therapy seems to be the right answer but I can't afford therapy. I'm on a fixed income and would like to know what's out there for me in terms of improving my personal mental health specifically in the realm of anxiety and depression. Thank you.
