229857 tn?1319029907 Hey ladies. I had Orion 3 weeks ago and everyday since I have had him I have had headaches. They are literally everyday! Some days they are just a little headache thats more annoying than painful and some days they are pretty painful. I was thinking its either from no sleep or from my hormones trying to get back to normal? Have any of you had this? What do you think?
229857 tn?1319029907 The doc had me meet him at the ER that he is affiliated with (he was working there today since the office was closed thats why it took so long for him to call me back). Orion had a mild fever 100.5. He said that Orion has an upper respitory infection and he was a little dehydrated from not eating because hes so congested. So they are keeping him overnight with IV fluids because his body is still too little to get dehydrated.. he get get really bad if he gets dehydrated this young.
229857 tn?1319029907 then the second one his head came out, and then one more he was out! Orion Sergous Brooke was born 7/9/09 at 12:14Pm. He had the cord wrapped around his neck but the doc had me stop when the head was out to take it off. He was 7lbs15oz and 20 1/2 in long. He started breastfeeding immedietly. I didnt tear or anything so i was very happy about that. I came home staurday but he had to stay 3 extra nights because of his bilirubin was way too high and it kept going up.

Avatar f tn Given that yesterday he said to not take the warfarin he was changing me from the genertic warfarin and putting me on the brand name of the med coumadin. Said some folks do not tolerate warfarin well but do well on coumadin and i am to start the coumadin today. I would be lying if i didn't say i am a bit gunshy at this point. This med has made me absolutely miserable and today is my 43rd bday...

Avatar f tn After a rocky night of crying with my mom, I've decided that I need a new baby boy name in case my baby's father ever tries to find me again. I was always so dead set on Orion Banner, but now we think it would be best to change the name all together.
Avatar n tn This is exactly what I read in The Coumadin (Warfarin) Help Book. Since my husband has been taking his Warfarin before his evening meal & his INR has been keeping fairly level. And that's good news, we want no more Strokes.
Avatar f tn DOES ANYONE KNOW IF WARFARIN CAN LOWER YOUR BLOOD COUNT AND AND ALSO LOWER CALCIUM AND VITAMIN D LEVELS?
Avatar n tn ve tried to read as much as I can about warfarin along the way. I even went to a day-long CEU workshop for medical professionals on warfarin management and got the certificate. But I'm still not an expert. To my way of thinking, the experts are the hematologists, pharmacists, and other health professionals who manage large numbers of people's warfarin on a daily basis.
942410 tn?1274047074 Clearly your question is one for your doctor to answer. In my experience with Warfarin, and I get along well with it, aspirin is much easier to deal with if it is sufficient. I don't know the relationship between having a pacemaker and needing Warfarin. Warfarin is a blood anticoagulant (thinner) as I'm sure you know. It is taken to reduce clot formation caused by something line Atrial Fibrillation or mechanical heart valves.
