vyvanse with water

I drink a modest amount of water (about two 16.9 fl oz bottles of water a day). I took a 40 mg Vyvanse pill on a Thursday and another pill of the same the following Saturday( two days later). I was then required to take a urine drug test for employment at a lab called Quest Diagnostics the following Friday after taking the last 40 mg Vyvanse pill (approx. six days later). Should I be worried about it being detected in the urine drug test?

As someone with a prescription and needs it, I can understand the desire to take just a -little- bit more to study just a -little- bit better and make you feel smarter for the test. Logically, you have to realize--a little vyvanse should help you focus, but like the last poster said, too much will just make you strung out and twitchy for the test. You need to sleep!

My doc prescribed me 70mg Vyvanse, to compare with my Adderall dose previously prescribed. When feeling the effects of Vyvanse it is truly a saving grace and I really feel "limitless". I think clear, I don't feel over stimulated or the out of body experience like other ADHD drugs. I'm in an industry that I must utilize critical problem solving skills, think extremely creative and relay high end technical knowledge to CIO's and executives on a daily basis.

Vyvanse because according to your post about changing from Adderall to Vyvanse, it seems that you are much happier with the outcome. If Vyvanse is as smooth as you say, then I would definitely consider consulting with my Dr. at next checkup.

She is currently on Bactrim and due to go back to Dermatologist tomorrow with suggestion of starting Accutane. She woke up with this acne in mid-December and began taking Vyvanse a few weeks before. Could there be any correlation? I don't want to jump into Accutane if Vyvanse could be causing it but she is so self-conscious.

To make swallowing easier, you may open the capsule and sprinkle the medicine into a glass of water or mix it with yogurt. After the medicine has dissolved, drink or eat the mixture immediately. Do not save for later use. Your doctor will need to check your progress on a regular basis. Your blood pressure and heart rate will need to be checked often. Store at room temperature away from moisture, heat, and light. Throw away unused or expired Vyvanse in a sealed container or bag.

Also, the euphoria associated with a first time vyvanse high will make you feel great.

The problem is that my doc prescribed me 60 30mg capsules so im trying to figure out how many 30 mg capsules is 70 mg vyvanse which i know that a 30mg vyvanse is 10mg adderall and 70 mg vyvanse is 30mg adderall.Is 7 30mg vyvanse capsules 70mg dose .I switched from taking 30mg adderall twice a day im going to have to call doc tommorroww.Any help in figuring this out .Thank you Im trying to get 70 mg vyvanse out of these 30mg capsules 1 70 mg or 1 60 is the right dose for me.

I am not addressing drug addiction — just what my doctor says is a common prescribing practice with Vyvanse.

Just a couple of months ago I was diagnosed ADHD, and Vyvanse was prescribed, along with clonidin. I have to really watch my blood pressure now, because if I miss taking the atenenol, my blood pressure will shoot up over 160 really quick. Is there any solution for people with 2 conditions like this where the medication for one condition diametrically opposes the medication for the second condition ? Would some other blood pressure medication work better than a beta blocker ?

My son who is 9 yrs old has started Vyvanse since January of this year. He is currently on about 25 mg of Vyvanse. The only thing that I don't like about it is that it takes a long time to kick in, like about 2.5 hours for my son. So often in the morning he will seem unfocused so will not do well during early 8am test. His doctor and I discussed trying Ritalin first in the morning and then adding Vyvanse, which is the reverse of what many people do.

Hello my name is John and was wondering if anyone can share experiences with Vyvanse. I started Vyvanse 3 months ago and my Doctor started me on a low dose and slowly upped the dose to 50 mg which worked great for me, but I wanted to see if 60 mg would benefit me more. I tried it for 2 weeks and it was definitely too much, it made me very up tight and not myself. So I went back down to 50 mg and now it seems if the 50 mg doesn't work as good as before. Has anyone experienced this?
