How much caffeine do you intake? I noticed that when I drink caffeine my boobs get sore and swollen. Try quitting caffeine first and see if it gets better. I was doing anywhere from 120mg to 500mg of caffeine and in 5 days I quit caffeine I lowered it slowly bc I have been drinking and eating caffeine for 7+ years and it's changed the game for me.

I found that I need less caffeine than before I started taking Vyvanse. Vyvanse does a much better job than caffeine, so I drink less coffee, espresso, etc and rely on the medication. I feel better, too. I don't suggest dropping caffeine all at once...the withdrawal is a drag.

He takes 50 mg of Vyvanse daily and was wondering if anyone has experienced this side effect with Vyvanse. Thank you.

Hello my name is John and was wondering if anyone can share experiences with Vyvanse. I started Vyvanse 3 months ago and my Doctor started me on a low dose and slowly upped the dose to 50 mg which worked great for me, but I wanted to see if 60 mg would benefit me more. I tried it for 2 weeks and it was definitely too much, it made me very up tight and not myself. So I went back down to 50 mg and now it seems if the 50 mg doesn't work as good as before. Has anyone experienced this?

My doc prescribed me 70mg Vyvanse, to compare with my Adderall dose previously prescribed. When feeling the effects of Vyvanse it is truly a saving grace and I really feel "limitless". I think clear, I don't feel over stimulated or the out of body experience like other ADHD drugs. I'm in an industry that I must utilize critical problem solving skills, think extremely creative and relay high end technical knowledge to CIO's and executives on a daily basis.

gave me Wellbutrin and it produced none of the side effects you mention except decreased cravings for caffeine and sweets. Our pharmacist said vyvanse is a lot like adderall; he said everyone seems to be using it who would have previously been on adderall. It is very trendy right now. The first thing I noticed when I drank it was that I felt quiet, FOCUSED, calm ~ for the first time in a looong time. It has some caffeine, but not a jittery caffeine (coffee was my addiction and the worst thing for me). I am telling you, it has helped me immensely! The second time this happened I had drank 2 monster energy drinks the night/mourning before. I would not think that just that combined with my 60 milligrams of Vyvanse would be enough to cause this, but you never know.

Hi Doc, I'm tired all the time and practically a person that is always in shambles. I'm 41 yrs old and diagnosed with ADHD because of my symptoms. I was prescribed Vyvanse. I took 20mg today but it put me to sleep. I was wondering if there was a possibility of me having thyroid problems because of this effect the Vyvanse had on me? I thought i was going to be focused and energized. Can you please let me know if this is the effect Vyvanse does to people with thyroid problems?

does she drink a lot of caffeine? Too much caffeine and calcium cause kidney problems. Check with the doctor to see how much calcium she should be getting each day. She may be getting too much thru certain foods. Cut the caffeine, switch to caffeine free soda if she can't quit soda altogether. Also increase the amount of water intake as water will cleanse the kidneys.

Also, the euphoria associated with a first time vyvanse high will make you feel great.

The problem is that my doc prescribed me 60 30mg capsules so im trying to figure out how many 30 mg capsules is 70 mg vyvanse which i know that a 30mg vyvanse is 10mg adderall and 70 mg vyvanse is 30mg adderall.Is 7 30mg vyvanse capsules 70mg dose .I switched from taking 30mg adderall twice a day im going to have to call doc tommorroww.Any help in figuring this out .Thank you Im trying to get 70 mg vyvanse out of these 30mg capsules 1 70 mg or 1 60 is the right dose for me.

I am not addressing drug addiction — just what my doctor says is a common prescribing practice with Vyvanse.

Just a couple of months ago I was diagnosed ADHD, and Vyvanse was prescribed, along with clonidin. I have to really watch my blood pressure now, because if I miss taking the atenenol, my blood pressure will shoot up over 160 really quick. Is there any solution for people with 2 conditions like this where the medication for one condition diametrically opposes the medication for the second condition ? Would some other blood pressure medication work better than a beta blocker ?

Vyvanse because according to your post about changing from Adderall to Vyvanse, it seems that you are much happier with the outcome. If Vyvanse is as smooth as you say, then I would definitely consider consulting with my Dr. at next checkup.

My son who is 9 yrs old has started Vyvanse since January of this year. He is currently on about 25 mg of Vyvanse. The only thing that I don't like about it is that it takes a long time to kick in, like about 2.5 hours for my son. So often in the morning he will seem unfocused so will not do well during early 8am test. His doctor and I discussed trying Ritalin first in the morning and then adding Vyvanse, which is the reverse of what many people do.

My daughter taking vyvanse several months ago. I believe she is abusing the drug. How would she even do that? The pill is a 50mg capsule, now yes it can be opened and it does contain powder inside. But can you really abuse this medication and please explain to me how you would even abuse this medication?

I was perscribed my starting dose just monday.. (it's Wednesday now) and started at 20mg Sunday I move to 40. I only got 6 20mg tablets. And first day I felt sooo high like I was on cocaine for about 3-4 hours. The 2nd day,(yesterday) I ended up taking a 2nd 29mg 2 hours after my first one.
