Hi Marie, sure am glad you got a new puter. Do you have Vista? I hated it when I first started using it and it did have a lot of bugs but they have come up with a bunch of new service packs to update with. Don't forget to have your computer set for automatic updates for everything. It changes stuff every 5 minutes it seems. Good luck learning it. There is a tutorial that gives you the highlights of the differences. Have fun!!!!

It seems like MedHelp is really up to date on things. It may just be a setting in your browser. If you can find it, see how you have it set to check for updates. Mine does it constantly so I don't have to use the refresh button. What system are you using? I have Windows Vista I don't know if that makes a difference or not but I know there is a setting someplace you can adjust I'm just not sure where it is but I'll see if I can find it.

I use norton which is supposed to download updates on its own. I don't trust it to do that so I always run live update manually. This morning there were a bunch of new filed and I hope one of them was the conflicker antiviri file. Scanned the puter using the deep or indepth scan & so far so good.

I'm deciding between an Uppa baby vista and bugaboo cameleon. Any recommendations or preferences??

Thanks! I actually griped to my sister who suggested my desk top's Vista was the culprit. Luckily I have an older laptop and sure enough it auto started in the laptop. Anyone else having problems viewing it can try altering their computers security temporarily. On Vista it does not auto start and when you try to manually use the .exe to autorun, it won't allow it. But.... all fixed now,thanks for responding Lulu.

Has anyone had problems with Windows 7 and microsoft outlook 2007 in not being able to send mail? I ran into this as I recently installed the above mentioned on a toshiba laptop Satellite A505 (I7) 64 bit. I looked online last & saw there have been problems with this going back some time. If I have to resort temporarily to a work around, I can by installing Thunderbird or something similar. Windows 7 didn't come with a native email program like previous versions ..

The problem with new operating systems is that they are released too early and the general public are used as the testing platform. When I purchased my Sons laptop, it had vista on it, I hate that software because it's full of bugs. I formatted the hard drive and took it back a stage to XP professional which seemed to make it run much faster. I am holding fire on windows 7 for as long as possible until they iron out all known issues.

I see others have their trackers up to date so I am starting to think this is a Windows Vista probelm. I am not sure yet. Is there antone else using Vista that is having these problems? Very slow once information has been entered into Tracker. Screen jumps when moving from one section to another of the Tracker. Sometimes the screen just freezes and you have to reboot. I don't have any other problems on the site except at these trackers! They were working fine until Monday.

I have Vista on 2 machines, and am slowly getting better with getting around it, but I think from what I have seen that win7 will be better....still have to see what "bugs" come out!!!!
