Viagra with wellbutrin

Common Questions and Answers about Viagra with wellbutrin

viagra

Avatar m tn When combined with one of those antidepressants I mentioned, it helps some with both weight gain issues that go along with many antidepressants and with the sexual issues. But to combine it with Viagra for this purpose, playing around with your brain neurotransmitters when you're doing fine mentally is malpractice.
Avatar m tn I never had ED, but it often took me a long time to climax during sex. My doctor and I decided to try switching to Wellbutrin (mostly because we thought it might help improve motivation). I'm still in the process of switching over -- cutdown from 20mg Lexapro to 10mg, and I'm now on 200mg Wellbutrin taken twice a day (400 mg total). The depression symptoms are handled fine and I think there is increased motivation.
Avatar f tn Hi there! Though Viagra has no specific side effects pertaining to MS, it is only advised to use the medication if advised by a medical doctor and only under the prescribed doses. Unnecessary self-medication is more harmful than useful in most cases and is best avoided. Hope the information is helpful. Take care!
362971 tn?1201987034 Has anyone heard of or seen any studies about any drugs affecting viral load? I was wondering what other people have heard. I saw somewhere on a post on this Forum that they took Viagra during treatment. because of its affects on them. I took it occasionally myself because during treatment my HGB was so low I think it affected me. Anyway it helped and I was wondering if it could affect my chances of SVR. Here is a link I found and what this person has to say about it.
Avatar m tn What do you think? Would nonexpired Viagra help me? If not what would you recommend?

Avatar m tn Are you seeing a psychiatrist or a regular doc? I'm neither a pharmacist or a psychopharmacologist, but Buspar is supposedly a relaxant although it has never been shown to work well in clinical trials. Most often these days, and this has been a drug that for many many years has been in search of a use that it proves to work for, it is used as an adjunct to an antidepressant when anxiety persists.
Avatar f tn I couldnt hold an erection for a while without Viagra but only recently got to test the viagra out with a woman, i could hold the erection for an hour or so but could not ejaculate. Admitedly i was drunk at the time but this has been a problem for me ever since i lost my virginity at 16. I can ejaculate/orgasm when masterbating and hold erections then without viagra but cannot during intercourse. Id say i am fairly fit and work out 3-4 times a week.
Avatar m tn So I talked with my doctor and he prescribed 25 mg of Viagra. When the prescription ran out I noticed that my ED got worse. I couldn’t get it up at all. So I went to an urologist and did an ultrasound. The results were perfect. The doctor blamed on stress and anxiety. I am stressed about it, of course, but I noticed that the Viagra is not as effective as before. I am taking 50 mg now and I can tell that is not like the first time I took it. Is it possible that my body becomes immune to it?
Avatar f tn That sounds more like a buried penis: https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/16291-buried-penis. If that's the case, I can't find any literature recommending Viagra as a treatment. Viagra is intended to assist men in getting and maintaining an erection. It doesn't seem likely that this would be a good idea for everyday use, and it's also not intended to be used as a daily medication. Is your husband overweight?
Avatar m tn I'VE BEEN HAVING THIS PROBLEM FOR ABOUT 1 1/2 YRS. NOW. I MASTURBATE ALOT BECAUSE WHEN I HAVE SEX WITH MY WIFE, I LOOSE MY ERECTION. EVEN WITH MASTURBATION I TEND TO ONLY GET PARTLY ERECT IF I'M ABLE TO ACHIEVE THAT. THIS IS MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO ACHIEVE ORGASM/EJACTULATE AT ALL. MY FATHER HAS THE SAME PROBLEM. COULD THIS BE INHERITABLE? I AM 46 YRS. OLD AND MY DAD AND UROLOGIST THINKS THIS IS BECAUSE OF THE MEDICATIONS I'M ON AS FOLLOWS: 1) IBUPROFEN 800MG.
Avatar n tn yeah they jus put me on wellbutrin 2 months ago so im hoping it will help...
Avatar m tn I have this problem of going soft right in the middle of the performance. I used to be great earlier, may be age is catching up. I understand that Viagra is good option but I have this fear of side effects (may be unfounded but still a fear), and I have history of drug reactions. I have heard that there are some very effective natural stimulants are available. But I am even more fearful of bad stuff. Can anybody suggest a tried and tested natural stimulant or any other method?
Avatar m tn Since then I have taken it when I hooked up with a girl in anticipation of sex( i was put on viagra around 2 months ago) and for whatever reason, to be fair not my own doing, I have not got to a situation to have sex (eg she had work early, no place to go, etc). I met a nice girl who does not live in the same country. We went out twice over here and got on very well. Im going to visit her for a couple of days in about 3 weeks so sex (I HOPE) is inevitable.
Avatar f tn Try to help him with that. His penis retraction has nothing to do with his drinking problem. Does he get morning erections or at other times? You don't mention his age. He should avoid Viagra at this time and consider other options. If he is overweight, that can give the appearance of penis retraction.
Avatar f tn m on 10mg of Prozac and have noticed some weight gain within the past 2 months or so and my doctor has suggested I start taking Wellbutrin along with the Prozac but my biggest concern is having panic attacks. I suffer from panic disorder w/ agoraphobia and the Prozac has been helping but I'm afraid that adding on the Wellbutrin may counteract that. (I know it is considered a stimulant for a lot of people - hence the usual weight loss.
Avatar m tn Hi folks, I'm a 41-year old man. I've been having ed problems on and off for a while. I apparently have low testosterone, and have been using Androgel for that. I've also tried, Viagra, and it works like a CHARM pretty much every time. Here's the thing: I'm a very sexually open person, and I've recently experimented with a few threesomes and foursomes. In each of those cases, despite using the Viagra, I was unable to get an erection.
Avatar n tn I am on Wellbutrin for the last 4 weeks and have lost 5 lbs. The way I can describe it is, I don't feel like I'm starving when I get hungry. It takes away that feeling for me. I still eat, but I eat less and feel fuller sooner.
Avatar f tn You may not need anything but the Wellbutrin to be honest with you. I have OCD which leads to anxiety and then to depression. I was on Prozac many years ago and I tried those other drugs over the past year when it reared its ugly head again but I choose Wellbutrin. I was initially on 150 XL like you but I needed a boost when my OCD kicked into overdrive so I went to 300 XL. It did make me more jittery at first but after about 4-6 weeks, it went away and I feel GREAT!
Avatar f tn I am on Lithium and Wellbutrin, it totally rocks for me. I love wellbutrin, I lose weight, feel peppy and over all better. Oh yeah, no sucky depression! :0) I have not heard of angry outbursts on it, but if this came about after starting wellbutrin, then I would switch to a different anti-depressent. Some people can not tolerate Wellbutrin. This is my second time using it. I used it alone before I starting having manic spells. They put me back on it after I was on Lithium for a year.
Avatar m tn I would like to ask if I can/should also use a delay cream at the same time with this pill. Will the delay cream help me in any way or interfere with the medicine?
Avatar m tn Hello. I can't second guess your physician; however, I'd be very careful with Viagra and high blood pressure. There are no herbal supplements that are effective. None have been certified as such by the FDA. As to why you're sometimes having erections and sometimes not: blood pressure highly affects blood flow to your penis, and that's what creates an erection. So if there's any medical condition that inhibits blood flow, this will affect your erection.
Avatar m tn I'm a 23 year old male who has always seemed to have issues with getting and staying hard. Even when masturbating in my young teens I didn't get great erections. At 16 I attempted to have sex and had an erection and felt ready to go and lost it. I have tried on other occasions and have the same thing happen. I would always think I could not maintain erections because I was obese and had high blood pressure and took lisinopril.
