Avatar n tn I have been taking a male enhancement (over the counter) for a couple of months now, usually just on Friday nights. I've not had a prolonged erection, but have had some erections that were not satisfied. The last time I had sex when I had my erection it was sore, like a pulled muscle type of sore. I didn't think much about it because it hasn't hurt since. I had sex again a week later and it feels the same way again.
Avatar f tn Hi there! Though Viagra has no specific side effects pertaining to MS, it is only advised to use the medication if advised by a medical doctor and only under the prescribed doses. Unnecessary self-medication is more harmful than useful in most cases and is best avoided. Hope the information is helpful. Take care!
Avatar m tn What do you think? Would nonexpired Viagra help me? If not what would you recommend?
Avatar f tn I couldnt hold an erection for a while without Viagra but only recently got to test the viagra out with a woman, i could hold the erection for an hour or so but could not ejaculate. Admitedly i was drunk at the time but this has been a problem for me ever since i lost my virginity at 16. I can ejaculate/orgasm when masterbating and hold erections then without viagra but cannot during intercourse. Id say i am fairly fit and work out 3-4 times a week.
Avatar m tn So I talked with my doctor and he prescribed 25 mg of Viagra. When the prescription ran out I noticed that my ED got worse. I couldn’t get it up at all. So I went to an urologist and did an ultrasound. The results were perfect. The doctor blamed on stress and anxiety. I am stressed about it, of course, but I noticed that the Viagra is not as effective as before. I am taking 50 mg now and I can tell that is not like the first time I took it. Is it possible that my body becomes immune to it?
Avatar f tn That sounds more like a buried penis: https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/16291-buried-penis. If that's the case, I can't find any literature recommending Viagra as a treatment. Viagra is intended to assist men in getting and maintaining an erection. It doesn't seem likely that this would be a good idea for everyday use, and it's also not intended to be used as a daily medication. Is your husband overweight?
Avatar m tn I have this problem of going soft right in the middle of the performance. I used to be great earlier, may be age is catching up. I understand that Viagra is good option but I have this fear of side effects (may be unfounded but still a fear), and I have history of drug reactions. I have heard that there are some very effective natural stimulants are available. But I am even more fearful of bad stuff. Can anybody suggest a tried and tested natural stimulant or any other method?
Avatar m tn Since then I have taken it when I hooked up with a girl in anticipation of sex( i was put on viagra around 2 months ago) and for whatever reason, to be fair not my own doing, I have not got to a situation to have sex (eg she had work early, no place to go, etc). I met a nice girl who does not live in the same country. We went out twice over here and got on very well. Im going to visit her for a couple of days in about 3 weeks so sex (I HOPE) is inevitable.
Avatar f tn Try to help him with that. His penis retraction has nothing to do with his drinking problem. Does he get morning erections or at other times? You don't mention his age. He should avoid Viagra at this time and consider other options. If he is overweight, that can give the appearance of penis retraction.
Avatar m tn Hi folks, I'm a 41-year old man. I've been having ed problems on and off for a while. I apparently have low testosterone, and have been using Androgel for that. I've also tried, Viagra, and it works like a CHARM pretty much every time. Here's the thing: I'm a very sexually open person, and I've recently experimented with a few threesomes and foursomes. In each of those cases, despite using the Viagra, I was unable to get an erection.
Avatar f tn If you have been taking your birth control amazingly, no antibiotics, no missed days or freakishly late timing- you're highly covered (98% usually). Added to that fact he didn't fully ejaculate, and the effectiveness of the plan b- I'm going to say you can sleep easy. That is a very very small chance you got pregnant. Keep in mind the plan b is likely to have some side effects. These include nausea, headaches, back pain, bloating, cramps, fatigue, etc.
Avatar m tn I would like to ask if I can/should also use a delay cream at the same time with this pill. Will the delay cream help me in any way or interfere with the medicine?

Avatar n tn Has anyone ever had a reaction to antibiotics that turns into a chronic condition? My husband has been ill for the last three years and doctors can't figure out why. Symptoms come and go but always include excessive sweating, night sweats, sinus infections and overwhelming fatigue. He was recently given Bactrim and had a bad reaction to it. Now we're thinking that antibiotics used over the years may have caused these chronic symptoms. Are we crazy?
Avatar m tn Hello. I can't second guess your physician; however, I'd be very careful with Viagra and high blood pressure. There are no herbal supplements that are effective. None have been certified as such by the FDA. As to why you're sometimes having erections and sometimes not: blood pressure highly affects blood flow to your penis, and that's what creates an erection. So if there's any medical condition that inhibits blood flow, this will affect your erection.
Avatar m tn I'm a 23 year old male who has always seemed to have issues with getting and staying hard. Even when masturbating in my young teens I didn't get great erections. At 16 I attempted to have sex and had an erection and felt ready to go and lost it. I have tried on other occasions and have the same thing happen. I would always think I could not maintain erections because I was obese and had high blood pressure and took lisinopril.
Avatar n tn Question: Is sildenafil (Viagra) safe with nitroglycerin tablets? Answer: Well, Viagra is not safe at all in the presence of nitroglycerin tablets and in fact, we know that if anyone takes Viagra with nitroglycerin tablets, that the blood pressure can be lowered precipitously and can be lowered to such levels as can be extraordinarily dangerous to you. [ABC News report from May 2008 - Internet] As we know, not everyone experiences negative side effects from every medication.
Avatar n tn It is possible to still have yeast infections, men can get them too... antibiotics can kill the healthy bacteria as well as the bad and it makes the balance uneven... when the balance is uneven the bacteria that normally grows in the vagina or any dark moist place can grow more and cause a yeast infection.. your best bet is to eat some yougurt to replace some of the healthy bacteria and to see your dr. Your dr.
Avatar m tn Recently I used some viagra two hours before an encounter with my date. I started drinking after the taking the Viagra. The viagra did not work....I took another one and waited awhile and it still didn't work...I took one more and waited a while with no results.... I have used alcohol with viagra before and I performed well. Can someone tell what the issue might be...Its puzzling because I don't know why it didn't work. I could not maintain a hard enough erection to penetrate her...
Avatar n tn Hi, Viagra will prolong your erection but I’ll suggest you to consult your physician before starting on Viagra and rule out certain important diseases like hypertension, coronary artery disease before starting on Viagra. Viagra can cause hypotension (low BP) and can tend to worsen hypertension and coronary artery disease. I hope that helps. Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
Avatar f tn Nitrates (nitrogen oxide donors) should not be taken with Viagra. Concomitant use of Viagra and nitrates may cause severe drop in blood pressure. I recommend you consult your cardiologist before using Viagra, and yes it may help in your case if it is not contraindicated.
Avatar n tn Hello Doctor. My doctor prescribed me viagra for performance anxiety. I suffer from anxiety disorder. It worked great and sometimes didnt even need it. Ive been taking it usually a couple times a week. Last couple times I took it it dindnt work very well. Is there a tolerance build up to viagra? Avatar f tn Does Viagra cause infidelity? I caught my husband carrying a pill in his pocket, when I confronted him he said it was "just in case". I am worried about this is this a side effect? Appreciate an answer soon.
