I might be able to get the girl tested as have her friends number. Her friend says there both fine and have been tested. Any advice would be greatful.

I also live currently in Nigeria. You need to have further tests done. HBSAG quant usually reported in Copies per ml, HBV DNA, Alt/ast.
Unfortunately theres no place in Nigeria to have HBSAG quant done just yet. Only option is to send blood samples to India. A lab called Hightech labs. You cld google this.
