Avatar n tn I was diagnose with clogged arteries over a year ago. I even had a stent put in because one of my arteries was ecluded. I still had stable angina every time I did some for of cardio activity or is I ate something with sodium. I started using Nitroglycerin patches and even have the pills just in case my angina episode occurs. I had a date and I read online that you can't take viagra and any nitrates cause it can drop your blood pressure really low.

Avatar f tn I had been hospitalized for 3 years in a row all in the same month march, for shortness of breath. They thought it was asthma. The last time which was this year, they hospitalized me for a week. Which they ran lots of test and determined I have COPD. The symptoms I had were shortness of breath, tired, and coughing. Oxygen doesn't seem to help, medication wasn’t helping too (Spiriva and Advair plus nose sprays).
Avatar f tn I was recently diagnosed with early copd. Since I do not have health insurance, i go to a clinic. The physician's assistant has prescribed singular for my copd, I don't feel that it is helping me very much. I mostly have shortness of breath & coughing in the evening. This disease frightens me because I don't feel I am getting the right medical advice. I asked about simbicor & spiriva and was told that those meds are for later stages of copd.
Avatar m tn How come Viagra doesn't work for me? Could it be from the prescriptions I take? Is there anything else I could try?
Avatar f tn Are your lungs being subjected to impure air such as secondhand smoke (living with or working with a smoker who smokes indoors), environmental chemicals, or mold spores? If so, then developing asthma and/or copd later in life would not be exceptional for many people imo.
Avatar m tn Viagra works a treat for me. No problems whatsoever, only a flush to the face for side affects too. Plus even though Viagra is extremely expensive, it also seems the cheapest method. I am already seeing a urologist about this, but has been delaying my appointments for over a year now. I feel as though I will never get round it all (even if it's a serious condition) so all I can really do is help myself to some enhancers for the time being.
Avatar m tn I go to a local Chinese acupuncturist for my migraines, insomnia and mild impotence. His treatments definitely do help with all three of these conditions. For my impotence he started giving me some yellow/red capsules to take as needed. After taking them for a couple of days all I can say is Wow! This stuff really does work. I've heard of Chinese Viagra and I'm not sure if that is what these are. The come in a plastic sheet of four individual pills sealed with foil.
Avatar f tn You have a Physicians Forum for COPD, but not a members site. Could be for emphysema as well as COPD. I may be on the way to being diagnosed with this, and would like to speak with others who have it. Thank you Medhelp for all you do.
Avatar m tn You are too young for viagra mate
Avatar f tn If he does that and pops a Viagra I bet he has no problem. Then maybe in the future drop the Viagra at some point.
Avatar m tn Thanks for the advice. I went to a urologist yesterday and he took some blood and urine tests. He basically said that it's either a metabolic issue (possibly low testosterone) or it's anxiety based. He had no hesitation in writing an Rx for Viagra but I stressed that I don't want to take it if there is another option. Hopefully the lab work will provide some answers.
Avatar n tn Will continued use of tri-mix actually cure ED as one well advertised medical agency suggests?? Where can I purchace it for a reasonable price This discussion is related to Trimix Dosage.
Avatar f tn I would like to know whether I should use the inhalers they gave me (spiriva and seretide) for my condition, COPD, irrespective of whether I get some relief from them. Can they slow down the lung deterioration process? Should I really go on inhaling for ever?... in other words, if these medicines are only - or mostly - intended to make me feel better (which they don't), can I stop taking them? I perceive them as a nuisance and the result of a pharmaceutically oriented approach.
Avatar f tn Please try Viagra if you are a woman who has MS. The study for efficacy of Viagra in women which is currently in progress is a study for sexual enhancement for women. So it has nothing to do with MS. Viagra increases blood flow and it helps a lot. It will drop your blood pressure and you don't want it to drop to a dangerous level, so you need to monitor it. Start with the minimum effective dose which is 25mg and see if it does something for you.

Avatar m tn Viagra to act, you need your libido, desire to have sex. Viagra will act if you already have libido.Take the help of a doctor for a complete treatment.
Avatar m tn Hi! I underwent urethroplasty five years ago, but didn't experience a lowered sexual drive. However, give him time for recovery, a couple of months more. Also he needs your support and understanding (my girlfriend helped me a lot with the recovery). If he had no sexual drive even before the surgery, then inflammatory issues (prostatitis) or mental condition should be also considered. He may also try Viagra or cialis to help him with getting good erection.
