Avatar m tn I was injured at work when a airbag went off in a car causing sudden deafness to my left ear .I had an mri done and nothing showed up on the scans .
Avatar m tn I have now due to the antibiotics given to me to deal with the infection total deafness on my right side accompanied by tinnitus on the same side also. From what I have been reading on the net I am so very lucky not to have gone completely deaf on both sides due to the medication, but I am also reading that the antibiotics can still cause me to go deaf on the left side also weeks/months after the treatment.
Avatar n tn Hi, Viagra will prolong your erection but I’ll suggest you to consult your physician before starting on Viagra and rule out certain important diseases like hypertension, coronary artery disease before starting on Viagra. Viagra can cause hypotension (low BP) and can tend to worsen hypertension and coronary artery disease. I hope that helps. Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
Avatar n tn Since I've been pregnant I've bee. Ha ing this slightly sudden deafness in my right ear.the deafness will last for a few seconds and I get my hearing back. What does this mean? Do I need to get checked? Anyone else in the same boat?
Avatar f tn Please try Viagra if you are a woman who has MS. The study for efficacy of Viagra in women which is currently in progress is a study for sexual enhancement for women. So it has nothing to do with MS. Viagra increases blood flow and it helps a lot. It will drop your blood pressure and you don't want it to drop to a dangerous level, so you need to monitor it. Start with the minimum effective dose which is 25mg and see if it does something for you.
Avatar n tn I was diagnose with clogged arteries over a year ago. I even had a stent put in because one of my arteries was ecluded. I still had stable angina every time I did some for of cardio activity or is I ate something with sodium. I started using Nitroglycerin patches and even have the pills just in case my angina episode occurs. I had a date and I read online that you can't take viagra and any nitrates cause it can drop your blood pressure really low.

Avatar m tn Recently I used some viagra two hours before an encounter with my date. I started drinking after the taking the Viagra. The viagra did not work....I took another one and waited awhile and it still didn't work...I took one more and waited a while with no results.... I have used alcohol with viagra before and I performed well. Can someone tell what the issue might be...Its puzzling because I don't know why it didn't work. I could not maintain a hard enough erection to penetrate her...
Avatar f tn Nitrates (nitrogen oxide donors) should not be taken with Viagra. Concomitant use of Viagra and nitrates may cause severe drop in blood pressure. I recommend you consult your cardiologist before using Viagra, and yes it may help in your case if it is not contraindicated.
Avatar f tn By all means, you should take her to a doctor as soon as possible. With deafness in one ear, they might want to look for an acoustic neuroma. With the growth spurt and headaches & large hands and feet, they may want to check her growth hormone to see if she has gigantism & if GH level is high, they may want to do a dynamic MRI with and without contrast of her pituitary gland.

Avatar n tn If you are taking a nitroglycerin preparation, Viagra is NOT allowed. Do not use Viagra within 24 hours of the test. Nitro-glycerine (sometimes given during a stress test) may interact with Viagra, resulting in a dangerous drop in blood pressure. Patients who are taking medications for lung problems, diabetes mellitus, congestive heart failure and Persantine may need to alter their medications.
