Avatar n tn First of all, why does he feel he needs Viagra? Is he uninterested in sex? Viagra doesn’t create sexual interest. Is he worried about erections, or is he not having orgasms? Without knowing his situation, it's difficult for me to comment except in a general way. Realize that men can have a multitude of sexual concerns with many possible causes. If your partner has lost interest in sex, when did this happen? Is it recent, or has it been building for awhile. Is he tired? Does he work hard?
Avatar n tn He has just turned 30 and is having trouble staying aroused. Is premature impotence normal for type 1 diabetics and is there anything we can do to help with arousal besides drugs like viagra?
Avatar m tn I go to a local Chinese acupuncturist for my migraines, insomnia and mild impotence. His treatments definitely do help with all three of these conditions. For my impotence he started giving me some yellow/red capsules to take as needed. After taking them for a couple of days all I can say is Wow! This stuff really does work. I've heard of Chinese Viagra and I'm not sure if that is what these are. The come in a plastic sheet of four individual pills sealed with foil.
Avatar n tn I got prescribed cozaar because I found out that diuretics also caused impotence in men. This still didnt change much. At this point viagra was not working fully, and even when I got erect it felt less full and smaller. I went to a urologist who took me off the testosterone for 2 months, and then ran some tests, and testosterone levels came back normal. He also tested for venemous leaks and said the blood flow was fine, just 1 point or so below normal.

Avatar n tn If you google "can Keppra cause impotence" or "can seizure medication cause erectile dysfunction", there are a lot of results on epilepsy forums that seems to indicate that yes, it can cause this. Avatar m tn The inability to get excited by a real-life sexual partner, or losing and erection is very common - it is called copulatory impotence. On our recovery forums, we have men in their teens with porn-induced ED. Over the last 5 years we have seen hundreds of men on our porn recovery forums with ED. Many in their teens and twenties. They stop porn - and limit masturbation - and they slowly recover their libido and erectile health.
Avatar n tn ve heavily used cocaine, LSD and marijuana. It began at 14 with marijuana and LSD, at 16 I laid off of the LSD and began with the MDMA and at 17-19 I was a heavy cocaine user (snorting, never smoking or mainlining). At 20 I slowed down quite a bit but still used MDMA and weed frequently. At 22 I think I overdosed on meth. It wasn't intentional but I took a bunch of pills, presumably MDMA but the effects caused a week long psychotic episode and schizophrenia.
Avatar m tn I have found a site that is very good as it sells 100% herbal alternatives and yes, they really do work!! and without the nasty side effects. The drug companies do not like people to know that there are such good herbal impotence products. called http://www.dirtybutclean.co.uk does anyone know of any other good alternative ED websites based in the UK. Avatar m tn Agreed that there's nothing funny about ED. Well actually there probably is, which explains why Viagra found it's way into so many comic routines in its early days, But we'll set that aside and pretend this isn't a tittlilating topic. Please note that the soft attempts at humor in this thread were directed to plays on words, not to the situation of the flag that won't run up the pole.
Avatar n tn Normalize the glucose levels, and the body can function better if the physical damage is not too great. And of course, this helps protect him from further damage.
Avatar m tn What meds do you currently take? That can contribute. And a huge reason for impotence is our own mind. Psychological issues can compound the problem. ED drugs do work for impotence. Do you see a urologist? I think that would be a good idea in your situation with your history. Getting you to have an erection again is important and your doctor will take that seriously. So, is seeing one a possibility?
Avatar m tn Ok, so are viagra and the cialis "cures" for ED. What about desire? Does that go with lack of function. Cures anyone?
Avatar m tn Keepin it simple, I haven't had a full erection for about 6 months now. I'm 25, Type 1 Diabetic and having real troubles. My control of my diabetes is good, not great but still good. I don't smoke, Don't drink regularly and I'm fairly fit. In the past 6 months I've taken girls back to my place and either had to call it off completely or try to work with what I had. It either doesn't grow at all or it gets to half mast and dies within minutes.
Avatar n tn Hi All, I was wondering if someone might be able to answer this for me for my own general knowledge. I am a relatively healthy 23 year-old male. In the past, I had been prescribed Viagra as I was having more or less of a performance anxiety issue with this one girl that I was with and used this only a few times to just get over this mental hump and then was ok afterwards having sex without the use of pills.

Avatar f tn The chances of a return of your function depends on how good your erections were prior to surgery and how much you are willing to go through penile rehabilitation with supplements such as viagra, cialis, etc and using a vacuum erection device. Your urologist should have prescribed this to you after surgery. Hope this helps.
Avatar m tn I am 73 yrs old and and had hormone treatment and brachytheraphy for prostate cancer approx. 11 yrs ago. I read that the January issue of the Journal of Urology states that men who have had both both can experience significant penis reduction, which has recently happened to me .Is there anything that can be done to stop or reverse this trend?
Avatar m tn I think your doctor is probably correct about the reason for your impotence. Ask you doc for some viagra. Perhaps the extra stimulation will kick you into happy mode, or perhaps at least a happy ending! You can ask your doc for anti depressants. Many people use anti depressants while treating, although I think most of them decrease one's libido. If you aren't depressed perhaps you could treat.
Avatar n tn m seeing now says, is that it is psychological problem and hands me pills like Levitra, Viagra, and Cialis..all of which provide minimal results. My confidence is at an all time low because of this. I meet a lot of girls, but often shy away from them because of my problem. I really don't know what else to do at this point, and getting desperate to solve this huge problem. Any info. you may have would be extremely helpful.
