First of all, why does he feel he needs Viagra? Is he uninterested in sex? Viagra doesn’t create sexual interest. Is he worried about erections, or is he not having orgasms? Without knowing his situation, it's difficult for me to comment except in a general way.
Realize that men can have a multitude of sexual concerns with many possible causes. If your partner has lost interest in sex, when did this happen? Is it recent, or has it been building for awhile. Is he tired? Does he work hard?
I go to a local Chinese acupuncturist for my migraines, insomnia and mild impotence. His treatments definitely do help with all three of these conditions. I love him to death however; I feel that our sex life is lacking. He recently got Viagra which helped however; he just doesn't seemed interested in having sex every few days like I am. What meds do you currently take? That can contribute. And a huge reason for impotence is our own mind. Psychological issues can compound the problem. ED drugs do work for impotence. Do you see a urologist? I think that would be a good idea in your situation with your history. Getting you to have an erection again is important and your doctor will take that seriously. So, is seeing one a possibility?

The chances of a return of your function depends on how good your erections were prior to surgery and how much you are willing to go through penile rehabilitation with supplements such as viagra, cialis, etc and using a vacuum erection device. Your urologist should have prescribed this to you after surgery. Hope this helps.

I think your doctor is probably correct about the reason for your impotence. Ask you doc for some viagra. Perhaps the extra stimulation will kick you into happy mode, or perhaps at least a happy ending!
You can ask your doc for anti depressants. Many people use anti depressants while treating, although I think most of them decrease one's libido. If you aren't depressed perhaps you could treat.
m seeing now says, is that it is psychological problem and hands me pills like Levitra, Viagra, and Cialis..all of which provide minimal results. My confidence is at an all time low because of this. I meet a lot of girls, but often shy away from them because of my problem. I really don't know what else to do at this point, and getting desperate to solve this huge problem. Any info. you may have would be extremely helpful.
