vesicare name brand

So here I am on day 3 of Vesicare. Anyone have experience with this? I feel like since on it my frequency is actually up a bit. I was told to give it atleast one week but two is better to see improvement so I want to stick it out but I keep thinking can Vesicare make your frequency worse before better? I am not sure what's going and since it's the weekend kind of hard to call and ask!

I've honestly never been clear on how the drugs for overactive bladder help people with urine retention. I have noticed though that several forum members with retention take them and figure there must be a good reason why they are prescribed. Can you clarify Lulu? If it's not too personal.... do you have an additional problem with distention incontinence or urge incontinence that this type of drug helps control? Inquiring minds (or at least this one little mind) want to know.

I'm using Vesicare and Lyrica and I just got my urinalysis result and they're normal. Can Vesicare and Lyrica affect urinalysis? Are they antibiotics?

I was put on Vesicare 5 mg daily and also was taking fluoxetine for depression and anxiety over this condition. After taking the meds for awhile my symptoms went away and I was symptom free for 3 years. Because of the expense of the vesicare and because I was doing so well. I decided to stop taking both medications. My bladder was fine and normal and then about a year later the symtoms came back. So I am now back on the vesicare and the fluoxetine.

About four months, I had symptoms that were consistent with a UTI (burning during urination, frequent urination, lower back pain). I went to my PCP and although the urinanalysis showed nothing, my PCP put me on Cipro. After a week of that, I still had symptoms, so I went back. I had a pelvic exam and did another urinanalysis (again negative). My PCP gave me an antispasmodic and a numbing pill for the burning sensation (I don't remember the name of it, but it turned my urine orange).

does anyone get headaches from taking vesicare?? They seen to go away with advil. Anyone had these symptons, did they lessen with longer use of vesicare??

Ok here goes: I'm 28/female, pretty healthy ... on 10/6, about 1 week before I was to leave for Vegas I was extremely nervous about flying. Out of the blue I started having frequent urination problems. No urgency (meaning I could hold it if I had too) but just frequent trips to the bathroom. No real pain or anything. I have an underlying anxiety disorder that is not controlled and I did start to panic about these symptoms which in turn probably made them worse.

GP has put me on Vesicare 5mg. It is to help my incontinence. Anyone else taking this? How is it?

Are the store brand diapers just as good as the name brand ones like Huggies and pampers? My mom tells me you should by the store brand to save money because they work just as well, but is that true? What do you guys use? I just want to save money but I don't want my baby to have to be soaked in it's poop and pee because I cut corners on diapers. Advice please!

Have you ever had a hydrogen-methane breath test to find out if you're intolerant to any types of sugars? If you haven't, I think this will definitely help you figure out what is specifically causing the diarrhoea, if its related to the IBS.

4)mg but the urge to urinate was there all the time so my doctor added (Vesicare 5mg). It was good for few weeks but then the urge got stronger and I was again given Bactrim DS for 4 weeks and now even with Bactrim DC I am not feeling any better. Few days back the doctor increased the dose of Floamx to 0.8 mg and stopped the Vesicare. It did not help and the urge to urinate is there all the time and there is tightness in the bladder. I also took Celebrex for few days and it helped a little bit.

So I been kind of depressed, and 5 neuros later I think Im giving up trying to find a dx. The PTC doesnt explain all my other sx. Anyway, I had started on the Vesicare 10mg, for my overactive bladder. Well it appeared to be working, so when I saw my urologist, I told him for the most part it is working. Before I started the Diamox, my bladder kinda went back to the old dysfunctional way.

which meant I had to return to my urologist....He gave me elmiron and vesicare to treat the IC....the Elmiron never helped my pain and, the Vesicare took my blood pressure from 113/72 pulse 68 to 153/103 pulse 122...I contacted my urologist and, he stated...that's not true ... neither of these meds would cause your blood pressure to go up...well, I called him back four days later...

can someone please tell that which medicine works best for OAB ........VESICARE,ENABLEX OR DETROL LA..........I m male and 29 yrs old ,can i also take detrol la.....Any response should be highly appreciated..........

I don't know- it's a squarish shaped ad with a kind of honey brown as the main color in the ad. It says what I mentioned above in it.

I have been on Ditropan, then Ditropan XR (or EX, don't remember which is correct) and after about 10 years that didn't work, so my doctor put me on Enablex and that works pretty well. Then I got a new Dr. and he wanted to switch me to Vesicare. That didn't work well, either, and I began having episodes of incontinence and urgency again. It's almost open enrollment for Medicare Part D, and the plan that is the most affordable otherwise doesn't cover Enablex at all anymore.

I had a total thyroidectomy 2 mo ago and have not felt right since 4 days of being placed on brand name these signs have started to decrease. If these are related do you know when I will feel completely better?

It is possible, Thyroid meds are funny, what works well for one does not work well for others, I was on (Generic) Levothyroxine for six months and my labs did not budge, then went to Synthroid (brand Name) and had better sucess, my endo claimed that generics were not as consistant as name brand. Pharmacy said they are the same? So the change may have made a difference, some times the fillers they use can cause issues also.

m going to save myself $200 and try to trust the generic, or buy the brand name again. Its just nice, a rare luxury for me to have a brand name medication of any kind and its the most important one for me. I trust the original maker very much. And here's my argument on the whole generic thing. Sure the FDA Tested a batch of each clonazepam generic maker's pills, but it has to be understood that not every single pill or batch can be tested.

I've read all the comments here and today I called a refill in for Brand Name Klonpin...I've been taking the generic for years. I will post back and let you know if I feel a difference.

After 4 weeks of Vesicare I still have no change in my nocturia. I had an ultrasound of my bladder, testicles, kidneys all normal. I then had a cystoscopy done which showed no abnormalities besides a tight sphincter. My urologist told me to continue the Vesicare which I have been doing.

So originally i had the name Tailyn && my mom chose the middle name L'orèal && my bf is letting me choose the name. But he told me recently that L'orèal is much cutter && i should switch it. Idk What do you think???
