Hi. Sounds like you are inthe final grueling weeks. I don't knwo the answers about the purpura. I have some varicose veins too and didn't see andy change during treatment. I am not sure if you are saying there was a change or you have always had blots of purple --however, you should probably ask your primary care doctor about them. I do think I know what you are saying about your back though. During treatment my back was highly sensitive, especially around the neck.

Yes they disappear when I press on them than reappear. Maybe because I'm on my feet 8 hours a day I get them on my legs. Together with the varicose veins I already have, no more shorts for me. I hadn't noticed until today, as I was shaving my legs, that my varicose veins are multiplying and becomeing quite prominent. I read they are mostly on inside and calves of legs. Mine are on outside of legs, knees, and thights. Could these be caused by the spasticity? Just curious if this needed added to timeline. .

I'm sorry that this post may drag on but I want to post all the info I can. on and off for several months I've been getting a strange sensation in my calf. it feels almost like someone is pushing their finger into it. its sometimes on the back of the calf and.sometimes on the side. it'll usually last a few days and go away.

Are you sure they were "vericose veins" or were they "spider veins" Vericose veins stick out of your leg at least 1/4 of an inch and swell the surrounded area. They are big and thick, between 1/4-1/2 inch in diameter and if unraveled would look like a snake about the size of a full grown grass snake. Spider veins on the other hand are much different, they are a lot smaller and are usually purple.
