Both Suboxone and Tramadol are active at the mu receptor on the brain. Since Suboxone has a very high affinity for this receptor, it would already have the receptor full and I doubt that Tramadol would kick it out. The chances of going into withdrawal are very high. Some cells are strongly ER positive, some only mildly so, and some are even ER negative (do not contain estrogen receptors). When exposed to an aromatase inhibitor like letrozole, those cells which are strongly ER positive are very susceptible to the effects of this drug and either die off or stop multiplying.

The way I understand it is the way that suboxone binds to the mu receptor. It has such a high affinity for the receptor that it will block other opiates from binding, which is why other opiates are blocked while on suboxone. I do know that their are other opiate receptors, but I believe that the mu receptor is also the one that is bound more with other opiates as well.
