I have a Meniginoma located at the base of my skull. I was diagnosised in 2008. The size of the tumour has increased since then. The Neurosurgeon I sought, for a second opinion gave me three options including surgery up through the nose which would involve drilling through the skull base ( A Transphenoidal ) !
The second choice is Craniotomy and the third is a Radiation Therapy .
My Question for you is, What are the pros and cons of opting for Radiation Therapy?
what is the range of the free T3? I have the same kind of story, been on Synthroid for years, but still feel hypo even though my TSH is ok. Well, my free T3 is still low so I had my dr add Cytomel (T3) to Synthroid. Feeling better so far!
Am I the last to know that insurance companies are offering free breast pumps because of the Affordable Care Act? My friend that works for an insurance call center told me about it yesterday and told me to call my insurance company to confirm. I did this morning and they confirmed it is true. Over the past week or so, I've had this dull pain at the base of one of my teeth (lower jaw, right side, three teeth from the back). I took a look, and there's a "cut" right where the gum meets the tooth, and a minor cut at the same spot on the next tooth (towards the back). I thought the gums just needed more stimulation, so I've been brushing ~4 times a day with a firm brush and concentrating on that area.
I have it mainly in my hands - but have kept under control somewhat by a good diet (vegetarian, gluten free) and supplements. My iron is still low (44) and my vitamin d is 65. I take supplements for both.
At one point my RT3 level was high (34) when it should have been below 33, but now it seems normal. I guess I'm still confused about the whole ratio thing and what that all means.

So let me first start out by saying, im not a worrying teenager freaking out after his first time having sex, i just have a legitimate question.
First a little about me, I am a 22 y/o male, believed to be std free(normally get checked 2-3x a year and last time i was checked i was clean).
The clinic has not tested the reverse T3 ratio, only the tsh, free t3 and free t4. Prior to the hashi's, my tsh had historically tested 1.8-2.4. I go to a military health clinic and I don't believe the NDT is an option for me as I think they only stock synthroid. In addition to the my tsh now down to a .64, which is really low for me, I have also had shortness of breath, fatigue, headaches, memory fog, and hair loss.
This is something which really bothers me, but I think it got used to me to be high on a daily base on tramadol, so now Im feeling like I miss something, which makes me crave.
