Avatar f tn I know that I am not allowed to even pick up my refills until the day I run out - not even 24 hours in advance of it. It must be my Dr's policy or maybe it's everyones? So if I have a 30 day supply, I can pick up my refill on day 31 - no sooner.. How about the rest of you?

Avatar m tn Although rare, Viagra (sildenafil), Cialis (tadalafil) and Levitra (vardenafil) can cause muscle pain and unusual skin sensations or paresthesia. In clinical studies, Viagra caused muscle pain and paresthesia in less than 2% of patients. Patients who experience these side effects should stop taking the medication and consult their physician. These medications increase blood flow to the penis by inhibiting the enzyme phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5).
Avatar f tn talking to your doctor, and asking for refills. If you have a doctor that makes you feel this way, maybe you should consider finding another doctor. That being said, there are severe addiction risks with using narcotic medication. If this is what is worrying you, again I say: talk to your doctor. Be honest, express your concerns, but never feel embarrassed to tell the truth or ask for what you need. Remember, doctors are on our side.
Avatar f tn d be able to tell you when a refill is available. you can also check online if your pharmacy has that option - if they do offer online refills, of course, you'll have to register with their site.

Avatar m tn s a pain in the neck to remember to get the prescriptions and refills. It should be automatic, they should even mail us 5 pills a every few months so we don't have to go get them.
Avatar n tn This may not be the right forum to post on about this but it does involve pain management. I have horrible migraines and have tried everything including topamax which was worse than the migraines. I found a Dr willing to give me some mild pain pills to help ease them until I could get in to see a neurologist. I have 3 kids so I don't have the option to stay in bed with the covers over my head although some days I have to and hubby has to stay home. He would put 1 refill on the RX.
Avatar m tn my dr is no longer doing pain management will my refills at walgreens still be honored?

Avatar m tn Her doctor has her coming in Monthly for a new Rx and charging her $185 a visit. Can she get 5 refills so that she only has to go back to the doctor every 6 months? Or is there a behavioral medical service that offers free or reduced cost care? In Central NJ..
Avatar m tn They said as of Oct 1 they would no longer honor refills on a narcotic and that I had to get a new prescription from my Doctor. Is this true?
5155542 tn?1364460322 Most pain docs evaluate their patients every month and do not give refills. They have the right to have you come in once a month. Consider yourself lucky that most of the time you are seen every other month.
17644146 tn?1458782868 My eye doctor's technician gave me a prescription for 90 day supply of 10ml (4 refills) for my eye drop which would last me three months (2 x day). Pharmacist gave me 2 bottles to last me three months. I don't like this as I have always been taking one bottle of 10ml which would last me a little more than one month. #1- When I finish these two bottles can I ask the doctor to give me a new prescription for one bottle 10ml with four refills?
1738109 tn?1331412572 Hey I'm here. What's up? I'm not a regular on this board but I can use someone to talk to. I am a dual addict with almost 6 months sober. I've had a real tough time with recovery. I'll check back and see if your around....
10996785 tn?1432812977 I've beatin down the Benzo addiction but I just had so much go wrong with my body I picked back up to drinking. I really don't think I have the energy to go through all the effects of withdrawal. They plowed me with medications to a point I was taking over 25 pills a day. A stroke and a cancer diagnosis (with most of my right kidney gone) later, I had it. Now I'm looking at another cancer operation (left kidney) and I won't make it like I am now.
645800 tn?1466860955 The CGM needs to be changed every 10 days, the infusion stuff every 3 days, the transmitter for the CGM every 90 days. Not to mention ordering refills on each of these items. I found a great app for handling all of my other meds with it letting me know when I need to get refills ordered, but it just doesn't seem to work with the diabetes stuff, especially the insulin which varies day by day as to how much is being used.
10996785 tn?1432812977 I know this is an international site and community. It's always been my holiday. I gave my wife and kids all the others but this was my day. I never liked to celebrate my birthday. I don't like the spotlight. Can you believe that one? Well we do have a couple of grand kids over with the family and I actually feel fairly good today. So I'm happy and thought I would share and wish everyone a safe and happy holiday......
Avatar m tn As far as your erection problems and the penile length issues are concerned, you should start yourself on a 5 PDE (Phosphodiesterase type-5) inhibitor like sildenalfil or vardenafil under the care of urologist and see how you do. Once you have taken a trial of this drug, do get back to me and we can take it from there. Hope that this information helps and hope that you will get better soon.
