Came down with a bad sore throat. Following day went to doc, he swabbed my throat and confirmed strep with a quick test. My wife had also had strep recently. Doc gave Z-pac and steriods since the pain was awful. Felt great in a couple days
Apart from the fever associated with the strep, I have had NO SYMPTOMS of any kind since any of those encounters. No fever, nothing.
