Is it possible for a false positive or alcohol in a urine test if youre diabetic? Im in a suboxone clinic and I get tested every two weeks. I was positive two consecutive times in July when I had my toe amputated and then it was fine now I tested positive again in November two consecutive times again. Back in July I had a UTI and believe I might again.
For the last month or so i have started to notice that my urine has been starting to smell really aweful like something has died, or rotten eggs. I'm a full time athlete and i drink lots of water and poweraid/ gatoride type drinks. I dont drink alcohol, or do drugs. My boyfriend and i are sexually active adn use protection everytime. Does anyone know what is wrong? or has any advice on what is going on?

The doctor was sympathetic, but said I need to submit to a urine analysis to detect for alcohol, nicotine, and marijuana before I can see a psychiatrist. During the exam, I reported no to using these substances, and alcohol, nicotine, and marijuana are all legal in my country. My other alternative, if I refuse, would be to self-refer to mental health which typically takes months. I’m just wondering if an outpatient/emergency doctor can really refuse treatment to me if I refuse a urine analysis.
If its a drug sample a urine test or hair follicle test would usually be the test of choice. It's extremely odd for a stool sample to be tested (as nurse girl said) for alkaloids such as cocaine since its excreted in urine within 2-4 days of use. Again as nurse girl said, honesty is definitely the best policy about these sorts of things.
Everytime i drink alcohol i see blood clot in my blood too, so I stopped drinking alcohol completely. To test if it was tanbaco that really irritated my bladder, i used some tanbaco after 3 weeks and the night after that there it was again I saw the blood again in my urine. After that It's been around 3 weeks that i avoided anything that could irritate my bladder. yesterday i did another urine analysis and there was still microscopic blood in my urine.

I am a recovering alcoholic/addict. I have random urine drug screens and random blood screens for alcohol. Am wanting to take Tylenol sinus congestion medicine. The ingredients are acetaminophen, guaifenesin, and phenylephrine. Will any of those ingredients caus a positive drug or alcohol test?

Presence of oily substance in urine along with orangish or dark yellow-colored urine can be attributed to biliary disease or jaundice. Increase your intake of water and avoid caffeine and alcohol. Pimple like bumps can be due to boils, folliculitis, impetigo or pyoderma.
Maybe see if there is a location there near you or speak with your doctor and tell him you understand he needs a screening but you cannot afford it - call around with the cpt code the doctor will use for the test and see if you can find your own lab that will do it cheaper. He should do it if you agree to go straight to the lab when they require a test.

I suggest that you talk to your son.I know this may be uncomfortable.However,I suggest that you use your own personal experiences with alcohol as an example. Discuss with your son the advantages of seeking help and the rewards of avoiding excessive alcohol drinking.He may not readily understand this but just continue being supportive and encouraging.
