Hey, i have pcos and therefore irregular periods. I didn't had my period for about 2 months and then i took meprate tablet for 5 days 2 tablets a day and it's been 7 days i didn't had my periods. Around one month or one half month before my boyfriend and i casually had orals. Now I'm worried. I don't know what to do. Please help.
I have been on trinessa for 4 weeks now. I am on the Sunday start pills. I started the first Sunday of July. My last period started the first Saturday of July. I've been taking my pills at the same time daily. I've been having protective sex always, and the guy never releases in me. Even though he wears a condom, he always pulls out before he has to ejaculate. I am now on the 5th day of my 4th week pills (I started Sunday). I still haven't started my period.
I took Tri-Sprintec (which is the same thing as Trinessa) for 3 years and my period almost always came on Wednesday of my inactive week (I was a Sunday start so Wednesday was the 4th day of the inactive pill week). Once or twice it came on Tuesday.
It is because it take a few days after the last active pill for your progesterone levels to level out and trigger your period.
I am currently on trinessa and have been for a couple of years. A few weeks ago I was on flagyl for bacterial vaginosis. I continued to take my birth control throughout at the same time every day and did not miss a pill. 11 days after I was off the antibiotics I did have sexual intercourse. Like I said, I continued to take my birth control as normal, and he withdrew before ejaculating. I also had been off the antibiotic for over a week. I am just concerned on my risk of pregnancy.

But I had unprotected sex 3 times last night, 2 times were pullouts and the 3rd time was not. Within a period of 2-3 hours. Could i get pregnant?
I am not stupid and know about pre-*** and that the best way to avoid pregnancy is to practice abstinence but i messed up and need some advice asap.
Hey I had a couple questions my girlfriend is late on her period and is on birth control with TriNessa lo and takes the pills she didn’t receive her period yet and is on 5th inactive pill she’ll take a pill late sometimes but folllow up with 2 pills if she misses one from previous daywhat are the chances she is pregnant ?
There is a reason why there are a certain number of active pills and inactive pills in a pack related to dosing of hormones for maximum possible effectiveness for protection from pregnancy. When you start messing with the dosing by skipping any active pills, you're causing the dose to be off and therefore the risk of pregnancy goes way up. It's never advisable to go that route unless you're prepared for possible pregnancy.
I am currently on TriNessa birth control and this is my 2nd month of being on the pill. I have a vacation planned in about 2 weeks and the timing lines up perfectly with when I am supposed to be on the 7 sugar pills. This means I will have my period during my vacation.
I REALLY want to avoid this. Is it okay for me to skip the 7 sugar pills and go straight to taking a new pack of birth control, therefore skipping my period?
If so, you could check in with the doctor, or a pharmacist, or just the FAQs questions for Trinessa. If they really are just placebos or vitamins [in some bcps, the five "break" pills are just iron tablets] and not progesterone, they shouldn't affect you when you go back on the white pills, even if you took them at the same time as two of the white pills.
Not too long ago insurance switched me to trinessa. The first month of those I bled after intercourse when I still had one active pill left. It's been probably 3 month since the switch now. I take it around same time every day not exact. But it's my blank pills week and I have not been having my normal period. There is not much of a flow, it's mainly when I wipe.
Ok im on birth control (trinessa) but while on my period the green pills i dont take them and while visiting my daughters dad we had sex used no protection cuz im on the pill but i should be ovulating right now and i missed taking a pill today.
Im taking TriNessa birth control and i was just wondering if the pills(or birth control pills in general) can make you have an extremely light periods or make you only have spotting or no period at all?
my last period was really light and normally my periods are extremely heavy and have been till my last couple of periods. this time, i just spotted a bit and there's light blood when i wipe when going to the restroom maybe its too soon to tell but its worrying me just a lil.

that is what happens be for and after you have your baby and your period i had that happen to me and when i went to the doctor they said that it was old blood that was from my period but if that still happens go to the doctor and see what they tell you tell them that you have that problem and take a pg test to see if you are pleas let me now how it go"s k.
I get it on my chest, back and face I have went to a derm since I was 18 but it never seemed to really help and I felt like since my acne was mild they never really cared. When I get acne it lasts for multiple weeks or months which is why its so agonizing especially cause afterwards I am left with post acne marks that can last up to a year. I took Trinessa for 7 days, was not on it before, was very nausea so stopped, experienced immediatly possible breakthrough bleeding for 12 long days, now 22 days later waiting on a period when will it come? Also had sex with boyfriend on and off the first 3 days on the pill, unprotected. I guess I am wanting to know when will my period start again and is there any chance of a pregnancy.
