The tobradex is completely out of your system after 6 days. But your symptoms are very disturbing. I would return for another exam or seek a second opinion with another ophthalmologist.
Alrex caused blurred distance vision, and now Durezol has done the same. Both have caused this problem within 24-48 hours of usage and the blurriness takes a long time (2 weeks) to subside.
Is this common? Or, what would be the mechanism that causes blurred vision in my eyes, but rarely in others? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Now, again it started from few days the eyes becoming red and feels irritating, and this time I went to a ophthalmologist yesterday and he prescribed TOBRADEX and he said vision and everything is good and it seems to be an infection (conjunctivitis). But I don't have any pus or water coming out of my eye, no blurred vision, and my vision is good.
My worry is I had a protected sex with a CSW on 3rd week of Nov, 2009. Is my eye symptoms related to any STD infections.
Would you recommend an 19 mo. old infant to use Tobradex for a chalazion? We just got a rx but we are not sure this is safe for an infant under two years old. The side effects for long term use mention glaucoma and vision problems? Should I be concerned about this?
That pain lingers until I move the eye again to cause the stabbing pain. There is also slight blurred/hazy vision in my left eye. I wear contacts, my prescription is -10 in both eyes. My right eye is fine.
I went to my ophthalmologist and she performed a number of tests. there was nothing on the surface of my eye, inside my eye, or behind my eye that would indicate any problems. She tested the nerves and the pressure, both were fine.
By Wednesday it was worse so I went to opthamologist who disgnosed Chalazion and prescribed warm/hot compresses several tmes a day and TOBRADEX eye drops 4 x a day + TOBRADEX ointment at night. It is now Saturday, six days later, with eye worse.
Does this seem like good advice? Is it usual that a Chalazion will get worse after initial appearance and after treatment has started I am away from home for work which makes me less secure about medical care.
I went to my Optometrist the next morning and he found 3 lesions in my RT eye ... LT eye was ok (for now). He prescribed Tobradex 1 drop 4 times per day but seemed very concerned ..... Help .... what is going on in my system ... why the lesions and the blurry vision ?? Will this happen to my other eye ?? Why is this happening to my eye ... Help !!!

I'm being treated for "bacterial Keratitis" on the left eye. I've had the infection for about two weeks. I waited a long time to see a doctor because I don't have insurance and I thought it was pinkey and would heal on it's own. I was wrong. I finally went at cost of $140. I was diagnosed and given vigamox (4 x day) and Tobradex. The doctor insisted I come back the next day to check my pupil after dilated. So, I paid another $140 for that exam.
/ surgeon diagnosed as me as possible glaucoma. The pressure in my eyes was 24.5 . He started me on tobradex ST ( steroid drops) and Timolol Maleate. Then I used thera tears and systane during the day and the night time gel. As of last Friday I was doing fine, then my vision became blurry again and my left eye is like half open. ( looks like a lazy eye) never had it before. He says my inplants look great. yesterday i saw him my right eye had raised pressure to 26.
This was just a normal day to me when out of nowhere it felt like something got into my right eye (or a barely noticeable pop, tough to distinguish) which seemed to partially block my vision. As unwise as it was, my first reaction was to rub my eye in hopes I could whatever it was out. A quick rub later and nothing changed, but my vision started to get fuzzy for a couple minutes (like a black dots everywhere) before I started to panic.
My vision has progressively become worse over the past four years or so. As of late, it has become much worse, with blurred vision. I find it very difficult to read at times. I was diagnosed with MS in February. Until then I just thought my eyes were getting bad, but now I wonder if it has to do with the MS. With MS and vision problems, does it get bad and then better like a relaps? Should I speak to my Neuro about it, or just go to the eye dr? Thanks for your help!
Has anyone experienced blurred vision and migranes?, I'm 34 weeks + 4 days pregnant and today I experienced blurred vision for 20mins followed by an hour migrane,I felt sick and had lower back pain but it eventually went! Has anyone else experienced this!?
I am 34 weeks 1 day my water broke at 33 weeks 1 day (been hospitalized for a week now ; no baby!) Well right now I'm experiencing this weird head spasms accompanied by blurred vision and then my body feels all weird.. Has anybody else experienced this? (paging nurse in room now)...
I had a C/S 2years ago. I developed blurred vision immediately after I woke up from the anesthesia effect. The blurred vision has persisted since then. I had no previous eye problems. I visited an opthamologist who tested my visual field and found okay. My fasting Blood sugar level is also normal. I do not have headaches but I often feel tired and my head feels abnormal.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thank you.
