Two weeks ago, I was diagnosed with ringworms near my groin area and on my penis. I've been taking Terbinafine tablets and applying terbinafine cream, and it's been slowly improving.
But I think the rash has spread to my fingers. The area between my fingers and near my nails is very dry and crusty, sometimes giving off a transparent liquid. There are small bumps on my fingers as well, and there's a constant urge to itch. Its been there for the past 3 days.

I have been diagnose with a skin fungus infection (dermamytocosis) and the dermatologist has prescribed Lamisil (terbinafine hydrochloride) very strong tablets with quite a few side effects. I would like to try natural alternatives like apple cider vinegar but could the infection spread out or perhaps can resolved by itself over time.
Will I be prone to get fungus infections in the future?

It spread to the finger next to it. Doctor put me on lamisil tablets 250 mg. I have been on the medication for 11 days and it does not appear to be helping. The fungus has spread to other parts of my hand and even to the other hand. I called the doctor's office and nurse told me to give it 2 weeks. I can understand taking 2 weeks before seeing positive results but should the fungus be spreading during the first 11 days while on the medication?
I have had this weird semi-whitish spot on the head of my penis for weeks now. So I did some research and I think it might be a penis ringworm. Its not an STD because I'm a virgin. I dont' play sports but I exercise in the gym 3 days a week. And at one time I had to pee all the time but it stopped about 2 and a half weeks ago. So I tried lotirmin ultra with 1% butenafine hydrochloride for a week and a half but I didn't notice any change. So now I have limasil with 1% Terbinafine.
t work i started to see some of these bumps that the color is red and when they heel they peel from center it is not raised and no liquid inside just like a patch so i called my doc in my home he prescribed for me lotriderme creme and nizoral shampoo and nizoral tablets and aerius tablets, so when i started the treatment the one they are between my legs has gone the old one on my stomach and my hand also are gone but new ones start to appear in different places , under my armpit under my stomach
miconazole, tolnaftate, terbinafine,ketaconazole and clotrimazole.You can consult a pharmacist and get any cream or lotion containing these ingredients. If the symptoms are severe then oral antifungals may be needed.

I was just wondering if anybody could give me some advice please?
On the right hand side of my right ankle about 6-7 months ago I noticed a single red/pink patch of a rash that was approximately 5 centimetres in diameter that didn't hurt or itch and I only noticed it because I caught it when putting a sock on and that caused a brief moment of pain that soon subsided. I chose to ignore it as it wasn't really bothering me so I thought it may disappear on its own. It didn't.
But when nothing seemed to happen I reached a doctor and he told me to put a CLOBETASOL PROPIONATE and NEOMYCIN SULPHATE CREAM with a medicine named TERBINAFINE tablets USP 250mg. But still that reddness is not gone . Please tell me what is it and what I should I do.
I USED to go to strip bars a lot and I would usually get long lap dances, usually ending with me ejaculating in my pants. A few months ago, a few days after going to a strip bar, I developed a slight bleeding rash on my inner thigh. I freaked out, went to a doctor, she said it looked like a fungal infection, RXd cream. Not much improvement, but it seemed to slowly get worse and started spreading.

I was scared to go see the doctor so I applied all types of over the counter medications and also oral tablets (flucanzole, clotrimazole, terbinafine) to help with the fungal infection. The infection used to disappear but then come back when I used to stop the treatment. So I finally saw a dermatologist. He told me I had genital warts and gave me a lotion to apply on them so they would fall off. It worked and my genital warts were gone.
The main findings were that for reduced fungus, terbinafine was found to be significantly better than itraconazole and griseofulvin, and terbinafine was better tolerated than itraconazole.

What you have read is correct. You could discuss this finding with your doctor and get him to prescribe it for you. Since the treatment is long-term it is better to go with onr which is tolerated better by the body.
I'm not sure if its the hard- water here in Houston or if its something else. Since a year now, my hair has been falling alot and my scalp hurts very often. I dont know what is causing this. I'm not under any medication and take multivitamin tablets everyday. The scalp pain is unbearable....so much so that i have to put an ice pack sometimes to numb the pain. Would appreciate any help.
Ive had 2 biopsy not cancer. Dr thinking fungus . I was on antibiotics and am currently taking Terbinafine 250mg and Ketoconazole 200mg pill and cream and wash . I recently had a tooth pulled and gum filled with puss. maybe that was hindering my healing. so frustrated and worried.
I have visited doctors multiple times, but the medicines- FLuconazole and Miconazole based creams and tablets have not given me any relief. I tried Betnovet-M, but it gives relief for a very short period. Clotrimazole based powders relive the itching but not the clotrimazole based creams. I have tried not using soaps, but it did not help. I was given medicine for probable mite infection but it did not solve the problem, The itch is confined to groins only.
I have used terbinafine cream for a week and my fungal infection almost went away.but after a week i started oral fluconazole with terbinafine cream.after few days again some fungal infection came...is it the side effect of fluconazole. ???
FYI, terbinafine is Lamisil cream. Terbinafine is the generic name. Otherwise, you will have to see a doctor.
