Hopefully we can find doctors here that is mature enough in this situation. Entecavir (30 tablets) is equivalent of 2 months of generic tenofovir. And from studies, tenofovir is most potent drug for hbv. I have an upcoming appointment with a new doctor, she's a hepatologist, i'll ask her about this. I hope she knows about tenofovir disoproxil fumarate. I'll let you know what will happen.

If i was to stop treatment in July.... and it is found my VL has shot up and become more active I would have to then go back onto the combo treatment of Adevoir & lumivudine etc.... Could there be a chance the VL would be too strong for the tablets to suppress it?
I was dignosed +ve for Hepatitis B . I started my treatment with sabivo tablets 2 yearrs back. After every 6 months I did LFT and DNA viral load which reports were within limits . But Hbs Ag was +ve .
Now after 2 years my Dr still asked me to continue with SABIVO tablets for one more year.
Is this required ?What are the effects ?

After about 68 hours(2013.9.11,12am), I take hiv block drugs from doctor, these drugs are Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate Tablets , Aluvia (Lopinavir and Ritonavir Tablets) and Lamivudine Tablets. I have take these drugs for 28 days (until 2013.10.8),at 2013.10.9(1 day after taking drugs) , I have take a HIV Duo or Combo (4th generation) test and the result is negative .
so, I want to know
1. Could these drugs delay the hiv window period , so that the combo tese was not correct?

try nitazoxanide first and if you see no results add tenofovir (do not use the other tablet which is truvada it is tenofovir+ftc but you don t need it, it can have more sides than tenofovir alone and only if you have resistant mutants or tenofovir alone doesn t work can be used)

when i checked for DNA load on december-2013 it was 10360IU/ml. I am taking Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate tablets IP 300mg Daily one tab. After using this again i was checked on july-2014 in this DNA report it shows Target not detected.my quetion is can i clear it please help me. my age 29yrs can i marry with this condition please help me.
I got a prescription from my GP for a sleeping tablets...I took those tablets and had no side-effects. Then few months later I stayed few nights working very late and again lost the sleeping pattern so I again asked the GP to give me the very same medicines and he gave me the same prescription. So that second time I went to the pharmacy and they asked me whether I would like to use a generic version which is chemically identical to the original prescription but almost twice cheaper.
What the doctor is doing seems reasonable and hopefully you will seroconvert to HBeAb soon after Tenofovir or Tenofovir+Entecavir. Seroconversion usually happens in the 3nd decade of life (assuming you acquired the virus during early childhood). Fibrosis will start receding once your HBV DNA is undetectable and your ALTs normalize.
That is actually not much better than tenofovir vs tenofovir disoproxil fumarate, the actual substance in Viread. It is 50 times more potent than tenofovir.
It is all this improper simplification of callling viread tenofovir.
Tenovovir, if it would be given orally, would have no effect on HBV.
TEnofovir if given intravenously or sc would still have almost no effect on HBV in the liver. the substance has a high negative charge and cannot easlily penetrate cell membranes.

The following is a paper from doctors in Francel. It said you can breastfeed whilst your are on Tenofovir because "Tenofovir is not absorbed in the breast milk". However, I have googled and cannot find any reference to this claim. All the best to you and your baby.
