Hi sorte, the reason to switch was i lost around 9-10kg weight in 1 year of tenofovir....also as i am hbeag +ve i had a viral relapse from 465iu/ml to 6500 iu/ml.. initially when i started tenofovir it was uncountable....170000000iu/ml. So after relapse he ordered me genotype and resistance test ... the result was unable to find out as the viral load is less than 5000 iu/ml.

I initially started my therapy with Tenofovir and for the past 4 years, I have been on Tenofovir Alafenamide. Recently, my doctor raised concerns regarding my cholesterol levels, which could potentially put me at risk of heart disease and fatty liver in the future. My LDL cholesterol has been hovering around 240 mg/dL over the past 4 years, considerably above the normal upper limit of 130.

I had my 2nd FNA two weeks ago after my first one came back with hurthle cells and suspicious. They sent my 2nd biopsy for molecular testing and my results came back as suspicious again. So I'm meeting with an endo surgeon next week. If both biopsies were suspicious AND the molecular testing was suspicious I'm assuming it means if my nodule isn't cancer now that it will be in the future. Is this a correct assessment?
