the failure is due to the toxicity not allowing a dose which works on hiv and hbv properly.
sebvivo is not a firstline drug for hbv, we have noticed that drug makers have some way made doctors prescribe these drugs in asia (they are also prescribing clevudine)
these drugs are not used because they are too weak making hbv resistance mutations, sebvivo might be considered safe if hbvdna gets und by 6 months.my opinion is it is not safe at all and have almost no meaning for hbv threapy.it has almost no effect on hbv, it just lower hbvdna which doesn t reflect any virus clearance.
they are dangerous because they all make resistance mutants if you have used lamivudine monotherapy, the only drug without hbv mutants is tenofovir, if viral load is 400c/ml under continuous antivirals you have resistance to them
take a combo of the current antiviral+tenofovir for 2-3months and then discontinue and take tenofovir only
to be very safe a combo of tenofovir+ftc (truvada)+nitazoxanide is the best and safe choice
unfortunately there is no research on optimal dose of tenofovir on hbv without sides (tenofovir is produced by gilead and they wanted to push use of hespera and probably hiden tenofovir from 2001...)
there is no tenofovir resistance reported in vivo (only one patient but in coinfection with hiv so not to be considered), only adefovir resistance can lower response to tenofovir.
the kidneys toxicity was used at first to keep tenofovir away from hbv becuase of no resistance development, the potency of tenofovir on hbv was known to researchers even before 2000....but all failed hiv drug were used
now dont let you fool by drug makers which need a new patent for tenofovir because it will become extremely cheap in a few years.....

if you are active and hve problems for cost of drugs you can use tenvir which is generic tenofovir, but only if hbv is active because tenofovir lowers only hbvdna and alt/ast nothing else, you can also make combo with alinia (nitazoxanide) generic nazonide 500 or nitarid if you can afford this too.
49 log10 hichic, so I đid need to take Tenofovir from week 32 to lower the HBV DNA and reduce risk of birth transfer Till now, I still take TEnofovir and I have not do a recheck yet because I feel scared and nervous, worried much hichic....But i think it is time so I can do better for my second baby since when i carried my first child, I really did not know anything about Hep B and I also didn't know why i carry it chronically since my parents and my sister did not .

add on peginterferon to tenofovir for another 2 years
in the end most clear hbsag (hbv) and develop hbsab antibodies, few patients reach a very low hbsag quantity which determine an inactive state of infection which is slowly cleared by the years of by tenofovir monotherapy
