Using baseline data from a multicenter study of HIV-infected youth on stable treatment with regimens containing TDF (n = 118) or lacking TDF (n = 85), we measured cross-sectional associations of TDF use with markers of renal function, vitamin D-calcium-parathyroid hormone balance, phosphate metabolism (tubular reabsorption of phosphate and fibroblast growth factor 23 [FGF23]), and bone turnover.

The following is a paper from doctors in Francel. It said you can breastfeed whilst your are on Tenofovir because "Tenofovir is not absorbed in the breast milk". However, I have googled and cannot find any reference to this claim. All the best to you and your baby.

tenofovir is the oldest drug among hbv drug since we share the same drugs as hiv, it is the most potent and generics are on the market.
HBVDNA is not detectable, Fiboscan is normal. initially i went through PegIntreforen+ Tenofovir for 40 weeks in 2012 then i switch to only Tenofovir. Now it 3 yrs and 4 month on Tenofovir.
Last week my doctor told that you HbeAg should be non reactive after 2 yrs of Tenofovir but since it over 3 years so might be Tenofovir resistance So you need to change my medicine.

CMX157 is a prodrug of Tenofovir, and it should be compared with TAF, rather than TDF.
CRX431 is a cyclophilin inhibitor. a class of drugs that has been around, yet to be proven successful, on its own.
tenofovir was recently approved for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection in Europe.
Given you are resistant to LAM, staying on Truvada is obviously better. But going mono on Tenofovir should be ok given you current UND. Tenofovir has a excellent resistance profile especially in UND situations. Even if you are resistance to LAM, can you access Entecavir as a possible combo with Tenofovir?
