I am a 25 year old female. I was diagnosed with a primary brain tumor in June 2008 and underwent surgery to remove it. It was the size of an apple and diagnosed a grade 2 tumor. It grew back in September 2008 and that's when i began rigorous radiation and oral chemotherapy (Temozolomide). My recent MRI has showed the regrowth of the tumor to be "gone." The plan is to take the Temozolomide for 2 years along with Accutane (which helps the oral chemotherapy work better).

Why is there so much debate as to whether or not there is Lyme in Australia? Is it because when someone says "Lyme" they only associate it one particular strain? I know I have potentially thrown the cat in amongst the pigeons but I think it is a valid topic for those in Australia suffering with Lyme Disease.

I was watching a show on telly tonight called R.S.P.C.A. where they go help animals in need etc.
And one story caught my eye of a cat that was parrellised due to a tick.
The lady pulled the fat tick of the cat and they took him back to the surgery and give the cat a needle, 24 hours later the cat was fine. The cat was motionless, had its tongue hanging out of its mouth, and had no use of its legs, and its breathing was rapid when they found him.

While doing some research on this site and others I have come across some conflicting information from the CDC vs. the SHC. I was curious to know why Australia publicly says that antibody testing at 6 weeks is conclusive, while here in the US they say the 3 month mark is conclusive (sometimes even 6 months or longer at certain offices/clinics).
