temodar success rate

We know the tumor is in a slightly different area than it was originally. He is in treatment (Temodar for the second time) for the third recurrence of his tumor. We have always been told it is in an area where surgery has not been an option. The oncologist does say he believes it is a higher grade. We think he believes it is glioblastoma but he won't say that definitely without doing another biopsy.

She had a surgical resection near the end of November and is currently in her third week of Proton Therapy and chemo with Temodar. Her tumor was in the right temporal lobe and the remaining tumor they couldn't remove (about 10 percent they said) is on her right insula. Hoping to chat with other people in the same boat as her. What if any side effects did you incur on Proton therapy? Did everyone who had proton therapy to their brain have to be on a steroid? Did anyone NOT lose hair.

I would like to know what is the success rate (Chances of getting pregnant) in first cycle of taking clomid. Also please let me know will there be any side effects of taking clomid. Any suggestions are welcome.

I think the success rate for suboxone is gonna be really small but maybe the phar. companys will make it seem different because at 6$ a piece from the pharmacy and due to the fact that they make anybody who is ill instantly well again ensures its success at the cost of billions of brain receptors. Somebody has to speak up, if im going to be on this for the rest of my life then just give me a script with unlimited refills.

Wow! $26,000! That's a lot of money. I've never done IVF, but I've checked the cost (I've had two miscarriages myself...and each time it took me more than a year to get pregnant). At the center I went for three IUIs last year, they charge about $7,000 for IVF, but that does not include meds, which I've heard can cost several thousands by itself. I've just kinda guestimated that it will cost about $10,000...but I'm starting to wonder if that's way off now.

Hi, I am wondering if anyone knows how much IUI increases your success rate. I was on Clomid for a while with Metformin with less than adequate results. The first round of Femara I had 3 good follicles(can't remember sizes) and the HCG trigger on Saturday morning and then IUI on Sunday evening. My husband has excellet counts and motility, there was a brief issue with the morphology but that is even great now.

I to get pregnant, so I was wondering what the success rate is?? Have any of you heard of a successful pregnancy after 1 IUI?? As far as I know there are no issues with me but my hubby had a really low sperm count. We see a urologist at the end of next month (Nov). ve had radiotherapy and oral chemotherapy many times over the past 10 years, with some success. But they keep coming back for me, too. I currently have 5 in my spine (including one wrapped around the nerves in the sacrum area) plus 5 more in my brain, where the cancer spread after several years. For over two years now, I've been taking an oral chemotherapy drug called VP-16 (etoposide) on a daily two-weeks-on, two-weeks-off schedule.

s office called back on Friday and asked me to have another hcg count done on Monday. They want to make sure that is is increawsing at the appropriate rate. I have an ultrasound scheduled for next two weeks from the last appt. Pray that all is well!

Can someone maybe tell me what is the success rate for artificial insemination? We had AI done friday his sperm was 0.1 and 50percent mobility and then saturday the second round and it was 100percent mobility and up to 0.2 they said something about it should be .3. Has anyone fell pregnant with these counts? What's our chances??

They really helped, the skipped beats (PACs, actually) that happened with high heart rate disappeared, the panic attacks disappeared and my heart rate got more normal during activity. After some months with regular walking I decided to start heavier exercise (jogging, running, weightlifting). At first, it was really scary. i do not agree with that success rate....... i had my tubes untied in may 06, i do not recall the exact rate, but mine was a success but we went into it knowing the dr would only do what he could.......... it all also matters on how your tubes were tied/cut/burned or whatever to begin with.. i used dr levin in kentucky if you goodle him he has a great website full of resources you could read up on....... good luck to you..... i have had 4 pregnancies with 4 m/c/ but it is no fault of him..

A month ago my husband (41) had a tumor resection of a GBM in the left temporal/frontal lobe. He is still recovering from surgery and has begun cancer treatment (temodar& radiation) a week ago. He has a previous accident injury where he has struggled with neck pain for ten years. He has been on suboxone for probably 7 years now. He is currently taking his suboxone but is not getting any relief for his head pain.

Do u think I have the tear again and do u think I should to go through the surgery again? What is the success rate of this surgery the first time and then the 2nd time around?

The only hitch is that when my Doctor talks about success rate what does she mean.. Post implant success or IVF success.
