PDE-5 inhibitors (Viagra, Cialis, Levitra) are safe and very effective but results may vary. I've been taking Cialis for over a year with excellent results and no relevant side effects. I also tried Levitra and it worked fine but Cialis is my favorite. Everyone is different, though: some men prefer Levitra, others prefer Cialis or Viagra.
I am having the same issues....Viagra and levitra (and cialis) doesn't work for me any more... I have been taking it for the past 10 years...If you receive any information on why this has happen and if there is a solution for it, I would like to know.....

If you are able to have morning erections and get erect while watching porn, this may be purely psychological. Try to relax (easier said than done, I know) and things will improve. Anxiety and sex don't go well together. When you get anxious, stress hormones constrict peripheral circulation and inhibit erections: it's the infamous 'fight or flight response'. Depression and mood disorders can also have drastic effects. There are effective solutions available, though.
I have bipolar disorder and have been taking 400mg of Tegretol and 900mg of Lithium daily
for 17yrs. I have noticed problems with erections 7yrs. ago. Now I have to take Viagra
in order to get some type erection.. Is this dysfunction due to the meds I am taking? I dont
drink alcohol any more, I stopped 7 yrs. ago.
Finally I stopped all together at about 24 but the impotence persisted so I was prescribed Levitra, Viagra and Cialis but the Levitra was my choice for about a year until it stopped working and gave me bad side effects (stuffy nose, what feels like high blood pressure and chest discomfort).
I began taking Viagra which worked great for a little while and cialis on occassion just to change it up.
I suffer from anxiety disorder. It worked great and sometimes didnt even need it. Ive been taking it usually a couple times a week. Last couple times I took it it dindnt work very well. Is there a tolerance build up to viagra? For a man like me who didnt physicaly need it, could it damage my penis and make me impotent? Been taking it for 4 months 2 to 3 times a week.
Since a doctor needs to prescribe either, then ask your prescribing physician. Don't do online pharmacies for this though as they are often not legit or reliable. Go to a regular pharmacy to get it.
My b/f and I have been together for 3 yrs. now. At the beginning, our relationship was definitely in the honeymoon stage and sex was never a problem. When he fell back into abusing Oxycontin, his attitude and his sexual desire was affected (went from at least weekly to maybe monthly). He began Suboxone treatment and is now weaning off of the Suboxone, and is now down to 1/4 of 8 mg. per day.
am also on icp treatment program which has shown no improvement. I have also taken sereis of drugs from viagra to levitra and all these advertised natural male enhancer and none has ever worked. I need serious and immediate help. Hope someone out there can feel my pains. Please help me, am frustrated.
Could my heart medicine (metropolol tartrate, gemfibrozil or metformin) be causing me to have a continuing ED problem and would viagra or other med help?? Intercourse is impossible now..Thank you..

Even though I had had some stirrings in December, nothing has really happened until the end of January and recently. (I have been taking the GPLC carnitine each night with my viagra.) No nocturnal or spontaneous erections yet, but I can "tease" a "fullness" which is kinda like an erection--nothing like pre-surgery, but a start. It does take time, but your husband needs to increase the blood flow to his nerve bundles. (That is why I am fighting so hard with BCBS.

I have read in a few websites that there is an increased risk of priapism in patients who take ED drugs like Cialis/Viagra/Levitra and who also have (among other conditions) Sickle Cell Disease and/or Beta Thalassemia.
It's not clear to me whether Beta Thalassemia Minor (my condition) also increases that risk.I could not find much information about it.
I agree w/ GuitarRox - doubtful this one-time deal would do you much harm. But same as GR, I'd want to know why you took Viagra in the 1st place at age 24 - were you experiencing any symptoms that made you think you were developing ED, or was this just sort of an 'experiment' to see what would happen? First, it's never a good idea to take a Rx drug that wasn't prescribed for you, and 2nd, it's an even worse idea to take a larger dose than prescribed.
Not a doctor, but I have taken crushed Levitra and Viagra to speed up effect. Otherwise my slow digestion takes over an hour for the effect to begin. The only thing I have noticed is that the flushing effect begins in about 15 mins and in less than 30 mins the benefit is apparent.
I'd like to hear if taking a crushed tablet is harmful. I don't need the benefit to last four hours, I take the medicine right before my wife and I go to bed.
