Has anyone had any problems with heart rhythm and taking cipro? I have read the side effects and it's scaring me. I don't have any QT prolongations but I sure have other rhythm problems.

They say its a real strong antiobiotic ,I was taking 500 twice daily .but I also stopped taking Cuban coffee I was drinking like 6 little cups a day or more dropped it to half a small cup once a day .My anxiety was really bad doing better but couldn't sleep .They prescribed me anxiety pills but refuse to take it .I pray a lot have my support from my kids and family .But 52 They had me in a heart monitor plus 3 EKG done runs blood tests etc .My heart is fine .

I am on my 13th day from detoxing from 150mcg of fentanyl. i need to know why since the detox, my eyes are burning and watery, very sensitive to any light. ive been trying to make myself deal with it and get used to it....not working. also now i am finally hungry and very thirsty . well i was happy i had a good meal and then felt pain in my stomach like i ate an elephant.

Any positive feedback on taking Cipro? Diagnosed with bladder infection. Took first dose this morning. Scared to take second after reading all bad stuff. The only thing I feel is a little tingly in arm and hand.

So I got diagnosed with gonorrhea and have been taking Cipro for 3 days now. However, the side effects of gonorrhea (pain while urinating, and yellow puss disharge) have only gotten worse. There is more discharge, and the pain has become excrusciating to the point that tears are shed. I want to get rid of this soon, or atleast the pain and drainage. I am afraid that I may have a Cipro-resistant strain seeing that nothing has improved and has only worsen ten-fold.

My symptoms seem to be gone however would it be a bad idea to stop taking the Cipro? I know people say you should always finish a course of antibiotics but in this case I dont know if I need them.

In my opinion it's important especially in the first trimester they need more folic acid and other things that the vitamins help with. I've been taking mine every day since 4 weeks and at first they made me sick so I started taking them right after supper with a glass of milk and it worked really well.

t develop resistance to formaldehyde? I took 80 tablets of it with 7 days of cipro but still feel a little pain in the lower abdomen, but my urine is clear I take metformin sometimes but it gives me nausea.

I was prescribed CIPRO I believe it was in 2010 for an infection. After just taking if for a couple of dosages I broke out in a SEVERE rash and huge whelps on my legs (look like I was beaten with a belt). I recently took Cipro for an urinary tract infection, I didn't have any problem with the drug. It cleared it up in no time. Everyone is different though.

Cipro has a lot of side effects. Have you looked them up? I am not saying come off it but what you are experiencing could be from that. It stays in your system long after you take it. Are you still taking pain meds? I can't remember if Cipro causes constipation but pain meds do for sure. Are you taking any stool softeners to help? Ginger or peppermint tea help a lot with bloating as well as a heating blanket. When you mean blocked do you mean constipated blocked?

I found a post that said that medications from the fluoroquinolone antibiotics (such as Cipro, Levaquin, Tequin, Avelox or Floxin) can cause these symptoms...I took Cipro and Levaquinn about 7 years ago, for a few short days each and my doctor switched the medication saying I was allergic.
