A part of the skin on the side of my upper lip is reddish. Its skin is peeling off for quiet awhile. When its skin is peeled off there is some sort of liquid that's oozing out of the reddish skin. The liquid dries quickly and its also easy to peel. Once its peeled more ooze comes out. The color of the ooze is yellow. The formation of the redness is going upwards like the side of a smile.
This happens from time to time.
i wouldnt lower the tacrolimus dose further
Seven years ago the blisters were small, now they are quite large and she appears burnt. The blisters burst by themselves, with liquid coming out. The area then dries and the skin peels. The liquid is coming from the blisters is clear. They appear a few at a time almost daily. They appear on the same places again and again as well as new places. The ones on the face tend to be smaller then the ones on her body, and no liquid comes out on the face.
The specialist reviewed all of the options with us - cyclosporine, pilocarpine or tacrolimus with sirolimus. She said that very rarely has she seen any dog respond to cyclosporine after not responding to tacrolimus. She also said that because our dog doesn't have a dry, goopy nose, that pilocarpine wouldn't be a first choice. She recommended a mix of tacrolimus with sirolimus. She said sirolimus is new. I have not been able to find anything about this drug on the internet.
His cretanine is almost 1.4 or around. My question is that should he continue his TACROLIMUS tablets or should switch to some other tablets which are safe for kidneys?
Secondly , in my sorrounding there is an opinion that lowering the TACROLIMUS dose also let the liver enzymes to increase? Do you favour such opinions as my father has lowered his tacrolimus dose to keep his kidneys safe?

I am 16 years old and I am overweight, I do not eat healthy at all. Ever since the beginning of the year I've had this itchy patch of skin above my lips. During the summer it went away, but when I school started back up I got it again. This time it's worse because it's around my lip and a little bit on my lip. Vaseline does nothing but keep it moisturized.
s hard to perform my job or other daily tasks when my eyelids are so inflamed. I guess steroids are the only option until they develop something better. Is Tacrolimus a promising nonsteroidal option?

there are prograf assistance programs that the company offers. If this is not feasible than using other cheaper medications such as verapamil for example for HTN for example will alllow much lower doses of prograf to be used (it delays metabolism of the medication) and thus it comes out cheaper.
AS I HAVE SUFFERED BREATHLESSNESS AND WALKING PROBLEMS,I HAVE BEEN TAKEN OFF TACROLIMUS AND PUT ON NEORAL-YET THERE IS NO IMPROVEMENT IN MY CONDITION.IS THERE ANY OTHER ANTI REJECTION DRUG THAT YOU WOULD RECOMMEND (I HAVE HAD A LIVER TRANSPLANT RECENTLY)? i would be extremely cautious about using it until more data is available especially since its purported effects on tacrolimus and cyclosporine metabolism are extreme. i am quite confident that there will be clinical trials coming down the road extremely soon.
can I use flax seed oil for eye drops for my dog? We have tried antibiotics, tacrolimus, and all over the counter drops but nothing seems to help, someone suggest flax seed oil but will only try this if I know it will not harm her in any way.

Treatment is by topical steroids or oral therapy of corticosteroids in severe cases. Topical creams like tacrolimus ointment (Protopic) and pimecrolimus cream (Elidel) are also useful.
If still the symptoms do not improve then please get a clinical examination done by a dermatologist.

I have had a patch of skin on my upper lip for the past three or four weeks that feels dry. For a while, the problem went away but then it came back. It sometime itches if the skin get really dry, so I apply a lot of lip balm and try to drink a lot of water to deal with the problem. I have also noticed that sometimes, when I push that area of skin of my lip forward with my tongue, there is discoloration.

t done it like that on a while but ever since then I been leaking this clear liquid stuff and idk what it is and its kinda a lot what does that mean?? Should I be worried?
s what my doc said because I would get up from sitting and a rush of liquid would come out. And yes it was a little pee and a clear discharge. The discharge is just hanging around the the placenta. Its not bacteria or infection. She said everyone is different and my body is just making extra liquids. So don't panic it really could be nothing but getting checked is the best thing to do.
