Avatar f tn So, taking the pill and plan b alters your hormones. Hopefully you understand how all of that works. You basically gave yourself a whopping dose of hormones with the plan B which will throw off someone's hormones for 2 to 3 months after. Doubt you are pregnant but your body will not follow a typical pattern for a couple of months.
Avatar f tn Hi I am on sprintec birth control pill and I have been for almost 10 months now. I've never missed a pill and I've always taken it on time, maybe a half hour to an hour late here and there but that doesn't happen very often. I had unprotected sex and he doesn't think he ejaculated in me but wasn't sure so I took plan b 16 hours later. This happened on the 8th of January and I had a little bit of light brown discharge today.
Avatar f tn I went ahead and took the plan B.
Avatar m tn I was a very healthy 41-year-old woman who took Sprintec and had two strokes within 5 minutes and spent two days being a human pin cushion in the hospital. It was determined that there was no other reason to have a stroke besides my birth control pills.
Avatar n tn I am too young to buy it and I took those bcps before 72 hours.

Avatar n tn On New Year Eve i had unprotected sex, and then decided to get the morning after pill, Plan B. I took the pill January 3rd. A couple days later, around the 6th i started bleeding like a period, and it lasted about 5 days. Now im confused beacuse now its the 29th of January, and my period still isnt here. I read on the Plan B website that you should still get your period when expected even if you bled previously.
Avatar f tn m not on birth control and I had sex with my boyfriend and the condom broke but he did not finish so I went out and got plan b and took it AN HOUR AND A HALF after the incident. I'm mainly worried about the pre-ejaculation if there was any. This was friday and today is Sunday a week after. Since then I have had stomach pains, bloated ness and nausea. But yesterday I started having brown discharge and I don't understand if plan b worked then why am I have all these signs of pregnancy?
Avatar f tn Is it safe to take the Plan B pill if I'm breastfeeding? I've sent my doctor a message about it and he hasn't gotten back to me yet, my husband and I used protection but it had a little hole in it so I just wanna be sure I'm not gunna have another baby this soon! I was thinking of taking it and treating it like alcohol and just giving my son a bottle until tomorrow morning...

Avatar f tn One week ago I had sex and the condom broke so I took plan B within 14 hours dispite I am on birth control because I was really scared of pregnancy. Today I had unprotective sex and I am just really scared that I am considering on taking plan B again, I now it is really bad for you but I heard of some people that took my pill and got pregnant anyway because it is not a strong pill. What should I do? Please help. I am 18 by the way.
Avatar f tn I am with mumita and mami and ziggy on this one. This world needs birth control and Plan-B for those unexpected times. What if a woman was raped and didnt believe in "abortion", she still has the option to take this pill as it is not an embryo yet. It is all how you perceive it, but I view Plan-B as a last resort birth control. If someone has to take it on a regular basis then they should get on a more traditional bc.
Avatar n tn I remember I had a terrible headache, cramps, and nausea and vomiting. I also began my period a few days after I took Plan B, and it was much, much heavier than my normal cycles. Trust me, birth control works much better, is less stressful, and is less painful if you are indeed trying to prevent pregnancy. Also, I believe I read on the package when I took it that if you have already conceived, it won't terminate the pregnancy.
Avatar f tn My boyfriend and I had sex and our condom broke so I took the Plan B morning after pill. A week later, we had the same problem, but before taking the pill again the day after, I began bleeding. I bled for several days and have heard that Plan B messes up period cycles. Is it possible that I could still be pregnant from the second incident?
Avatar m tn I took plan b on July 13th, and had my period (or what seemed to be my period) on July 20th just a week later. Normally my period comes around the 28th of each month, so I assume that the pill just made it come a week earlier. I had unprotected sex again and took the pill on July 30th, and today August 5th I am experiencing what seems like another period. I first noticed a dark brown discharge and now am experiencing more bleeding (usually how my normal period starts).
Avatar n tn m asking if anyone thinks I got pregnant Feb 14th ( the incident we had and I took plan b) or when we were actually trying? Any help would be appreciated. I also spotted for like a half of an hour for one day 5 days after the positive pregnancy test. What could that have been?
Avatar f tn Pretty doubtful I've taken plan b a day after my bf got off in me and I didn't get pregnant I think your probably hood but watch out for early signs of pregnancy anyways just in case
Avatar f tn If he didn't ejaculate inside of you, and you took the plan b, I highly doubt if you're pregnant. The plan b will mess up your cycle. They say the plan b pill, stops ovulation, and/or makes the environment extremely hard for sperm to survive in. Also after the plan b you don't always bleed.
Avatar n tn took plan b and missed two priod and test 6times its negative and I don't have any pregnant syptom.
Avatar n tn Dont take plan b...I took it to prevent pregnancy and it failed and now I'm 3weeks pregnant and its probably ectopic...they don't tell u that one side effect is it gives u 10times more of a chance to have an ectopic if it fails..which I'm learning is very dangerous and I will prob have to have surgery...it makes u more fertile after 72 hr window...so don't take it....so do birth control pills to regulate..
