I would not take lamisil ever again. It is notoriously hard on your liver. Sporanox is really bad for the liver also.

Triamcolone acetonide is a more potent type of triamcinolone, being about 8 times as effective as prednisone.It should not be used to treat fungal infections without consulting a dermatologist.

I was wondering what would be the best fungal medication for him to take terbinafine or fluconazole I read on the internet that sporanox is not recommended. What do you think I should tell the doctor to prescribe for a two and a half year old that would be safe.

I was Rx Sporanox pending liver function test. AST was normal, but ALT was 52 in a lab norm range of 2 - 45.
I was told possibly elevated due to my 1600 - 2400 mg/dy of nsaids (Advil gel caps). ETOH consumption moderate.
If I cut the nsaids, how long should I expect to wait to retest for a drop of 7 points on that ALT score? Is 45 really the high end of norm?

I have been experiencing a red painless sore covered by white colored form on top of my penis for the last two weeks. I already consulted a dermatologist and have taken SPORANOX for first two days then have changed the medication to 'Clotrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropoinate Cream', Tablets of 'Metronizazole 400mg 'and 'Ciprofloxacin 500'. Lab report also shows no symptom of Syphilis(VDRL is negative). I am really frustrated, any advice would be highly appreciated.
I have been diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis on my face. I was asked to take sporanox capsules by the doc for a week and consult the doc soon after. The fungal infection subsided within that period but I did not consult the doc after that. The infection has returned once again . I would like to know if I should take the capsules once again for a week and then consult the doc or meet the doc before taking them.
I used to have severe dizziness problem for years until I was given Sporanox to treat an obvious yeast infection (there was very bad fungus in my ears) and ever since the dizziness went away but I have all the other fibro symptoms. I am currently being treated by an infectious disease doctor, and he has me taking 100mg of Itraconazole per day. The name brand for Itraconazole is Sporanox. I still have this yeast infection! The medicine has not helped me yet. Why is this happening? I don't understand why merely taking an antibiotic for a sinus infection caused me to get a yeast infection that I just cannot get rid of? I know I am being a pain in the *** but, just to be clear, is it true that HIV virus cannot survive outside human body- thus not in the solutions? (becase I heard the virus, it needs protein in order to survive)
The fact that I do not know for sure the test kit and the solution are in any ways 'virus-free,' I am getting this irrational fears that the developer solution might have been contaminated with HIV.
