I went to my speech therapy this morning. She had me saying ahhhhhh, ooooh, eeeeh and reading from what looked like a grade second reader. The she made a mistake. She said, "Tell me a little about yourself." Now, being a complete windbag I went into a dissertation that rocked her back on her heels. She kept asking me to take a deep breath as i talked.
They can either tell you all is well or help you improve your speech thru therapy. Killing oneself is pretty extreme. There are those out there with much worse conditions that persevere daily and are glad they are able to do that. Perhaps you are over thinking all of this and need to take a deep breathe and look at it from another angle. I hope you can find some peace in this.
I just had a new problem in which one eye has double vision and poor vision, problems with my speech.. I have a terrible headache that goes in Waves. I had a MRI and this is what it says could you tell me what this report means? Thank you.
ON THE AXIAL FLAIR PULSE SEQUENCE, THERE ARE A COUPLE OF PUNCTATE AREAS OF INCREASED SIGNAL IN THE PEIVENTRICULAR DEEP WHITE MATTER ON BOTH FRONTAL REGIONS AND IN THE SUPERIOR MARGIN OF THE LEFT FRONTAL PARIETAL REGION. FINDINGS ARE NONSPECIFIC.
There are so many different abbreviations for things and some of them vary from region to region, so I am going to assume you mean hydrothermal ablation (?)

If it is correct, then the answer is, an ablation may help to keep new endometriosis from forming, but will not help to keep old endometriosis from growing, recurring or otherwise causing problems. The mechanism by which endometriosis develops is not known for sure.

Brain injured patients may receive rehabilitation that involves individually tailored treatment programs in the areas of physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech/language therapy, physiatry, psychology, and social support. A complete physical and neurological examination is needed in each treatment program. It would be best to discuss which treatment option is best for you with your doctor for proper evaluation and management.

Hi Everyone- I'm new here, but I had a question about my 2 year old boy. He was diagonosed with PDD-NOS in August and he's been getting ABA therapy for about a month now. I was wondering if anyone has any great success stories with ABA. I know he's been getting only a month, but already I'm getting a bit frustrated. Before he started ABA, he has gotten 6 months of other therapy- speech, special instruction and physical therapy along with his twin sister.
Not clear if heavy metals show on the scans
My diagnosis as we speak right now by my Earth Metals Specialist MD is that I have Aphasia due to heavy metal poisoning, that’s what my medical form says. With That MD I’m doing kelation therapy there; however this is almost two years after the accident.

My husband was diagnosed with Graved Disease and has had radio iodine therapy in March. His MD has put him on Synthroid, but my question is will his speech go back to normal and if so, how long? It's very disturbing to hear because it sounds as if he has been drinking (he doesn't at all), and I'm worried how this may affect him long term.
Hi, my son is almost 3.5 yo. He was diagnosed with speech delay 6 moths ago, so far he finished 6 weeks Intervention program and 6 weeks of speech therapy. He's doing great, now he has around 100 words and likes to sing songs. He has troubles expressing his emotions and wishes, and does not play with kids in preschool. He's great with fine and gross motor skills, really good climber, knows all letters, counting till 100, likes to write numbers and letters, has good eye contact.
My husband has had periods of slurred speech for about 10 weeks. An MRI was ordered and revealed no significant problems in the brain, ruling out stroke, tumor, any major problem that could be uncovered with this examination. Coincidentally his speech pattern has coincided with some discomfort in the upper part of his back. Could there be any correlation?
