DETROL LA Capsules contain tolterodine tartrate. The active moiety, tolterodine, is a muscarinic receptor antagonist.
The recommended dose of DETROL LA Capsules are 4 mg daily. DETROL LA should be taken once daily with liquids and swallowed whole. The dose may be lowered to 2 mg daily based on individual response and tolerability.

It all started initially with frequent urination for which my primary care physician put me on a dose of Vesicare (Solifenacin). I took it for about a week, and was fine for few days, but then the symptoms again showed up. In the meantime, he had me take urine culture tests, blood tests, and a did a physical exam of my prostate. They all seemed to be normal.
I was referred to a urologist who then told it may be a case of non bacterial prostatitis, although I did not have any pain.
I have been diagnosed with an over-active bladder which causes incontinence and pain after urination.A urologist has prescribed medication containing Tolterodine tartrate.Should I be taking this if I am already on medication for Atrial Fibrillation?Thanks.

im 16 years old and for about the last 4 months i have had the constant urge to go to the toilet.
i have been to the doctors over 6 times with the problem now and still nothing has changed.
at first the doc said that i could have an infection, so after taking 3 different types of tablets
nothing had happened and the doc said it was not that. they sent me to a hospital and i had a ultrasound
test done on my lower stomach IE kidneys bladder etc.
i have to pee every 5 mins. wen i try to get a good night sleep i have to wake up every 30 mins to pee sometimes i wet myself. even in public i wet myself. it's so embarassing! but it comes and goes. also when i pee it feels like an orgasm and wen i'm done i feel like i've got to go again. any suggestions???

This was not it. Almost a week ago, my doctor prescribed Detrol LA 2mg (Tolterodine L-tartrate 2mg) capsules, to be taken once a day. I first started taking them a week and a half ago, and they don't seem to have had an effect. It's for a condition called "overactive bladder", however, the symptoms of this condition don't really match mine.
I also drink lots of water every day, and I don't have diabetes.

You just have to do it awhile and you learn what is low vs high (ie knuckle deep to reach it vs full middle finger vs full ring finger). Then soft vs hard would be the difference between your lips and nose. I know way to much information, but you asked;-) It is also best when you cervix is wet (ie egg white stretchy discharge). It means you will need to take thyroid medicine. What has your Dr. told you. Mine was 20 last week so my meds were increased I take Levoxyl. The reason mine went so high in my opinion is because I stopped taking the Levoxyl for a month or so. Felt lousy so had my blood tested and voila! Now I return in 6 weeks for another blood test to find the numbers. Maybe I will stay on the dose or it may need to be adjusted. This was my fault for stopping. They told me they like mine around 2.
