Avatar f tn While i was pregnant, i ate a lot of salads with diced chicken, apples with peanut butter, granola bars, rice/chicken/corn, tuna casserole, rice cakes, oatmeal with bananas, cucumbers and ranch, yogurt with granola, carrots with ranch, scrambled eggs with bacon and diced onions, grilled chicken tacos.

It's the feeling of a gurgling stomach and intense, sickening gnawing hunger pain underneath the gurgling. It makes me immediately start sweating, I get hot and feel that I'll be sick (faint, throw up, etc.) if I don't eat immediately. I run into the kitchen and drink milk and eat oatmeal, peanut butter toast, etc.
Avatar f tn Is it ok to drink slim fast while pregnant? I have gained too much weight so far. I started out tiny and now my mid section is huge! I'm not looking to lose weight but eating hurts. My lower back is in excruciating pain and I know it's from the weight gain and due to my belly sticking so far out. I'm only 25 weeks pregnant and I feel the only option is to eat tiny meals to keep up my energy because after I eat my stomach feels so tight b it just hurts.

A condition only made worse by fast food which has very little fiber How about you simply begin eating a normal well rounded diet that includes fruits and vegetables, as well as something like oatmeal or raisin bran for breakfast. Both of those have more fiber. You could be well within a week or two on a good diet. Didn't any of the doctors speak to you about diet or your apparent constipation.

There are a few recipes on his website. Right now I am using the Ultimate Breakfast Smoothie. It tastes awesome and it actually keeps me full for over 6 hours. I have zero cravings for food and sweets. I've cut back my dinner portion.

Avatar f tn It depends on where you're dining. If it's fast food, options are pretty slim, but you'd want to opt for fruit and yogurt type things. Breakfast buffet is good, because they typically, provide yogurt, fruits, boiled eggs, and other healthy options. You have to be careful with regular sit down restaurants, because most of the "good" choices are made bad, by cooking in too much fat, using to much sodium, etc.

1232362 tn?1333135406 i have divirticulosis which is asymptomatic. for the past 2 months have been struggling w/ ear inf trying assorted things to correct. 4 past 4 days have been unable to eat any but jello or not eating at all because of jaw pain when chewing and opening mouth wide enough hurts ears and jaws. now seem to be moving past all that finally (yay!!!) but since last night started having severe diarrhea. i don't feel ill-just that-it's close to being disastrous.

Avatar f tn I started with Johnson's but it used to break his skin out esp the shampoo. So I went with Aveeno Baby and I love it! It's made with natural ingredients like oatmeal. I never went to anything else. Johnson's baby bar is a bar of soap and that worked great but I didn't use any other Johnson's products until he got older.
579258 tn?1250649343 I had a bowl of Nature's Path Organic Maple Nut Instant Hot Oatmeal made with 1% milk (oatmeal is 210 calories) and a handful of raisins. Had 3 oz. orange juice and two coffees with a dollop of 1% milk. Last week I had the most amazing healthy and low calorie breakfast where you mix milk, oatmeal, sliced almonds, a wee bit of maple syrup and brown sugar and cinnamon and bake it. It tastes sinful. As soon as I find my cookbook that it came from I'll post it on healthy cooking forum.
Avatar f tn Welcome to the community. Try walking at a reasonable pace. Also look into yoga as it's low impact and done at a slow very deliberate pace. Be sure to watch what you eat as well - might also help the e-coli infection.

1279364 tn?1280682588 m counting points but I am also chugging back a weight loss shake everyday as part of those points. There is no way I could ever do the Slim-Fast plan or anything like it. I just like the amount of nutrients in the form of chocolate milk i can get! Makes a great difference if I need a boost before working out or just need something to keep me going while I make dinner. ^_^ Anyways, some of them certainly don't taste very good. My favorite so far comes from Wal-Mart.
645800 tn?1466860955 2 bowls of oatmeal, 1/2 can of peaches, 2 hot dogs with 1 can of chili, 1 bowl of raisin bran. 2 bologna sandwiches, 1 large salad, and still hungry. Thinking about having another couple of hot dogs with baked beans right now to hold me over until dinner time. And it is only 3PM. At this rate I'll weigh 500 pounds by the end of the week.

Avatar f tn When working I would eat some fruit (my favorite was half a cantaloupe), then a few hours later a bagel or some cinnamon raisin toast with peanut butter and a banana, lunch changed dqily, for snack I had some more fruit or yogurt usually. Sometimes a granola bar or some fruit snacks, then dinner changed daily, and for some reason I always wanted cereal or animal crackers before bed lol.
