Avatar m tn However, the last 6 months if I eat any food that has more than 7 grams of sugar in it (such as a bowl of cereal or a granola bar) its like my body freaks out. I get dizzy and have to stay in a chair and sit still, and I have muscle twitching and a very very fast hearbeat. I take a meclizine and after a few hours its gone. During this time, my body produces a lot of urine, also. I have been to the dr. and been tested for diabetes and its not. I cannot live like this.

Avatar f tn my cravings change daily. the only constant is chocolate milk and peanut butter (not mixed together!). my hubby sent me out for dinner and i came back with turkey cuts and strawberry waffles. he ordered pizza after staring at me like i was crazy. but it was my night to choose dinner! is anyone else hungry ALL THE TIME??? ive got constant munchies. i have to really restrain myself from eating too often. its redonkalous! i dont think ive ever been this hungry in my life! lol!
Avatar f tn You sound like you have hypoglycemia. You are correct to have several small meals. For snacks protein is best because it is digested slowly. I keep boiled shrimp in the refrigerator and use them for snacks. You must stay away from sugars and anything that easily converts to sugar. Are granola bars high in sugar. Better check that.
