Avatar f tn Is it ok to drink slim fast while pregnant? I have gained too much weight so far. I started out tiny and now my mid section is huge! I'm not looking to lose weight but eating hurts. My lower back is in excruciating pain and I know it's from the weight gain and due to my belly sticking so far out. I'm only 25 weeks pregnant and I feel the only option is to eat tiny meals to keep up my energy because after I eat my stomach feels so tight b it just hurts.

Avatar f tn Welcome to the community. Try walking at a reasonable pace. Also look into yoga as it's low impact and done at a slow very deliberate pace. Be sure to watch what you eat as well - might also help the e-coli infection.
599170 tn?1300973893 I cant seem to get my sons gf to take ( age 16) eating seriously she lives off fast food, is showing though finally got quite the oblong belly , would not know shes pg from behind...anyways she drinks plenty of milk and takes her vitimins,,how concerned should I be her only veg is iceberg lettuce or corn I tryd to explain both of those have little to no nutritional value...

Avatar f tn I am fairly active and extremely careful about what I eat. I am very careful to read nutrition labels, check for the correct serving size, and measure for correct proportions. I eat 500 calories a day or less, yet I am overweight. It seems I can go days without eating, without feeling hungry, and without losing weight. It scares me that I may not be getting the proper nutrition, I need. My family also monitors what I eat and is worried, because I eat so little for my size.

Avatar f tn Nutritionally one could grind up shoe leather, oil, tar and bones and get the same ingredient analysis as many pet foods. ie reading labels is not so helpful as a lot can be hid behind those labels. Pet food companies of all sizes may switch sources or content of pet food depending on what's cheapest and the calorie content may change or there may not be much research behind it.
Avatar f tn Hi Gia and welcome to the forum! Since your cat is loving his food, just stick with the better quality most definitely. As to how easy different meats are to digest - I don't know, maybe someone else will. I'm thinking your kitty might be like mine - he just eats too fast and vomits. And once or twice a month isn't too much to start changing your boys food which is much harder than it sounds.

Avatar f tn how are you with yogurt? I'm sort of in the same boat, don't drink milk, makes my stomach hurt if I more than a small amount. There are lots of other places you can get calcium from. I'd suggest checking out a book on pregnancy nutrition, it will help you figure out what other sources of calcium are and how to make sure you are eating a well balanced diet while pregnant.

Cuz what u eat the baby eats :/ try cooking home get the nutrition you need for your baby fruits vegetables milk fresh juice stuff with iron and calcium is good for you and the baby! Take advantage of giving your baby what she or he needs while she's inside your womb cuz when she or he is born and gets older they might not like certain foods that are nutritious good luck!
468408 tn?1208433009 This is pretty common when going through withdrawal. Try getting some Boost or even Slim Fast. They both have a lot of vitamins. Make sure he drinks plenty of fluids. It's very easy to dehydrate during detox. Gatorade and Vitamin water are good. Tell him to hang in there , this will all be worth it in the end.

Were you talking bout the 100 cal. snack packs? if so thats the ones i use i have a slim fast for breakfast with one it works pretty good! but only have one of those per day cus the carbs are lil bit yucky so thats all i have one per day!!

Sugars listed under carbohydrates are presented in grams. Every 7 grams equals a heaping Tablespoon of sugar. 2. Maintain normal body. If overweight lose the excess fat. 3. Exercise 30-60 minutes daily. Walking is a good way to lower blood sugars.

Avatar f tn I was diagnosed with adult onset anaphylaxis about a year ago when i graduated high school. My case is severe, with over 20 allergies including 4 of the top 8 so I've got some experience. Allergies suck. Let me just tell you that... but it does get better. When I was first diagnosed, I was afraid to eat anything. I literally lived off of organic dried blueberries and water, NOT a good idea. I started to feel really crappy; fatigued, losing weight, tired and my appetite decreased.
