Is it ok to drink slim fast while pregnant? I have gained too much weight so far. I started out tiny and now my mid section is huge! I'm not looking to lose weight but eating hurts. My lower back is in excruciating pain and I know it's from the weight gain and due to my belly sticking so far out. I'm only 25 weeks pregnant and I feel the only option is to eat tiny meals to keep up my energy because after I eat my stomach feels so tight b it just hurts.
I used the ATKINS diet and I lost my first thirty pounds in 30 days. I didn't think I would EVER lose the baby weight but when I switched to the NO CARB diet and LOTS of WALKING the pounds dropped so fast! It was amazing! It was worth giving up pasta, bread, potatoes, rice, sodas etc for awhile! Try walking at a reasonable pace. Also look into yoga as it's low impact and done at a slow very deliberate pace.
Be sure to watch what you eat as well - might also help the e-coli infection.

My starter weight before I got pregnant was 118 and dropped to 115. Then I moved back home and my weight went up to 125 and now I'm 133. I did not like the fact I was gaining weight so fast and that I just lay around the house as well..so today I started doing more workouts that way I can be fit and have a easy labor. Hopefully I dont gain a lot of now. I just want a fit and healthy pregnancy. And specific workout routines you ladies do.?

Anyone taking humira and feel like they are sick coming down with a cold for a week after injection? Not a full blown cold but the start of one. I feel like this always and this is my 3rd dosage ( counting the starter kit), so I'm new to humira. I've noticed if I'm stressed, I'll even get a sore throat. I know humira suppresses your immune system but are you supposed to feel like you're coming down with something every injection or will this go away with time?

Your current weight does not have to be your "set point" if you don't want it to be. Usually as we age, our metabolism tends to slow down and we have eat less or exercise more - usually both...... In my case, I have a "double whammy", because I'm getting old AND I have hypothyroidism.
My husband works out of town 20 days a month. So my window is very slim as it is but my periods are also irregular. We have been trying for 5 MO with no luck. I'll take any help I can get.
I have been on this med for about 2 months. I have seen a improvement, more energy. They should start you out on a starter kit. This will increase the dose gradually. The best way to do it. The only side effects I have noticed is a little bit of a rash, nothing bad. Looks like a little case of heat rash. But the benefits for me are way worth going through the side effects.
