seroquel overdose treatment

This dose is working for me and is not an overdose. My moods have been BAD BAD BAD as of late, so in addition to the seroquel being increased, so has my lithium.

Luckily for you, the overdose amount for seroquel is much higher than you took. I would suggest that you contact your doctor. He won't be happy with you taking more than prescribed but may increase your amount or try something else.

Hmmm... Has she said why you're a big risk for OD on mood stabilizers? Is it something to do with your metabolism or she thinks you're suicidal? As it is, it depends on the person. If you've been on them before and didn't find them helpful, it's possible it doesn't work for you. However, if you ended them before they had a chance to get to a therapeutic level, it could be a dosage issue. Only you know how they affected you.

I took 40 25mg seroquel, 20+ 5mg Valium and 14 150mg exeflor xr with lemonade. I woke. Up this morning at 5:30am. Why did it not work?

how much seroquel, xanax, and alcohol causes an overdose. im qworried about my sister, she ha been prescribed xanax for 8 years now at 2mg a day, so her tolerance is well established. she is also an alcoholic. thankfully, she knows not to combine xanax while drinking, but what about the addition of seroquel? could she OD from the pill combination alone? would then the addition of alcohol just pretty much seal her fate?

I would want to know from the members of this forum about how many people are using Seroquel only as a sleeping aid in doses of 25 mg and 50 mg.All suggestions and answers are welcome.

s still out as to whether it was caused by just the alcohol/benzo withdrawal, overdose quantities of seroquel, or the seroquel simply didn't allow my brain chemistry to re-normalize on its own, and it was brought on by physical activity after being down for a week. seroquel is an antipsychotic not a sedative, and it can be contraindicated in some individuals.

ok for years i took psych meds for depression and anxiety i was a bused as a child badly so my therapist says i have DID as well yes i have different personalities i know it and at times i am not real. well lately i been wanting to overdose and even came very close last nite but someone called and distrupted it so i am still around .when i was on antidepressants before they made me feel worse and i was in and out of mental hospitals for a few years liek 6 . i even had ECT treatments.

s like I stop breathing or something, and then I take a big breath and instantly awake. OK, this happened yesterday. I was also taking Seroquel....200 to 300mg a night for sleeping. So I thought it was the Seroquel doing this because 3 hours had gone by from taking the Suboxone. The thing is, my breathing problems slowly got worse instead of better and didn't start to subside until around 8:30AM. So I took 8mg I believe last night. The last time I took a dose of Sub was after 1AM.

Only one of the medications that I take is listed under treatment options - it is hard to document when I take my PRN meds, or even that I took my regular meds when they aren't listed. Meds like Abilify, Trileptal, Tegretol, Seroquel, Resperidol......I think those are some that should be added! Thanks!

Seroquel has recently been FDA approved for the treatment of mania and depression, but like others here I've never heard of it being used alone yet. Learning more about your disorder will probably help you feel less out of control with your doctor and med changes as well as your own symptoms. You've not been diagnosed for very long, so it's natural things may be hard to understand and follow. This site is probably a good place to learn about BP.

Hello all, I would like to request the addition of Seroquel (quetiapine) which is an anti-psychotic to the mood tracker. Seroquel is very commonly prescribed for the treatment of both manic and depressive episodes of bipolar disorder.

After my son died 2 years ago my doctor added Seroquel to add to my antidepressants sertraline and imipramine. . I never took Seraquel during the day because it put me to sleep while I was driving and I drove off the road. Another time I fell asleep sitting up while my son's doctor was talking to me. Mortifying. It did help me sleep with no nightmares and I got up feeling great. It is very expensive. First, Is Seraquel addicting? I started taking it only at night.

Hi. I've been on these boards a long time. My last failed treatment had to fail because about 9 weeks into the treatment, I developed retinal hemmorhaging. My husband (we've divorced now, but not because of this). He had to do my shot that night into the back of the forearm because I felt so awful. As he prepared the medication, I had to keep correcting what he was doing.

I was given Seroquel as a sleep aide in last Dec. I immediately started to gain weight. And stopped the Seroquel immediately (mid Dec). I know this is one of the side effects. I gained about 5lbs. Being 5'9" and weighing 135, I felt the 5 extra pounds would come off with eating better and a few more yoga classes . But the weight kept coming. I got down to a dietary intake of about 1000 cals. But that mad no difference.

For instance 100 seroquel = 1 risperidone = 3 zyprexa. My information is that all are given to prevent mania and reduce dopamine responsible for psychosis. Yet seroquel especially is given for depression too this is why it works as a mood stabilizer. Some say all atypical are the same but seroquel seems to be different from readings and at least it works for me. My combo is 75 seroquel + 1 risperidone + 1 stelazin (typical AP). It's weird and crazy usually one AP is enough.

Back in August I went to treatment for 100 mg of adderall, 10 klonapin and 7 ambien a day. They detoxed me off of everything but one klonapin in 28 days. I was on the one klonpain for the next 2 months. I finally got off of it and went crazy. I was not able to sleep and I relapsed. Went to the hospital and got ambien and they gave me one ativan. I am back in treatment and I have not been sleeping and just have been feeling overall off balance. They put me on 100 mg of seroquel.

Can someone give me either the symptoms or the timeline for an Ibuprofen overdose? And what's going to happen if I don't get treatment? I've taken approx. 40 200mg ibuprofen tablets, 32 hours ago.
