1768438 tn?1313777142 Although the safety and effectiveness in children below the age of 2 years have not been established, it can be used in children younger than two years under the guidance of a doctor. Avatar m tn can i give salbutamol in 1st trimister thretened abortion?
Avatar m tn As, Singulair (montelukast) is used to prevent asthma attacks in adults and children. Singulair 10mg tablets contain the active ingredient montelukast, which is a type of medicine known as a leukotriene receptor antagonist. You may need regular inhaled corticosteroids and short-acting beta agonist such as salbutamol, to relieve your symptoms. Nebulization may help. Sometimes, steroids may be needed to control the symptoms.
Avatar f tn I would like to ask if the ipratropium inhaler is available with the combination of salbutamol and what brand?
Avatar f tn I am 19 wks pregnant and suffer from terrible allergies this time of yr and have to use salbutamol 100micrograms inhaler. I use it up to 3 times a day. My midwife is uncertain if I can use this while pregnant and I have read up on possible effects to the baby and I am terrified. Has anyone used this while pregnant??
Avatar m tn bronchodilators and caffeine in tea are both stimulants and cause a rise in heart rate - when you combine them you may get even more of a response (called syngery) then you would see from either of them alone. You could try drinking herbal teas that are caffeine free and this help stop that affect.
Avatar f tn I took her to the doctor who prescribed her Salbutamol cough syrup 3.5 mg 3 times a day saying that she has wheezing. Is it safe? It is not releiving the cough at all, already tried for one and half day. It is about the same.

Avatar f tn 7 Hours later my heart rate is still sitting at 120 at rest and I have tingling in my fingers and hands, waves on pain in my left chest (that I had at hospital nothing showed on ecg), and short of breath. Should I be worried????
880900 tn?1467270141 I am a 65-year-old white female living in a relatively polluted part of Mexico (west coast tourist mecca). Shortness of breath and dypsnea seem to be increasing in frequency for the past two years. My lung x-rays are fine: no sign of any problems there, even though I am a smoker. Tests show a slightly high cholesterol reading. I have had deep veinal thrombosis, a couple of TIAs, and severe rheumatoid arthritis (for 24 years). Two years ago, my GP prescribed a salbutamol inhaler.
Avatar m tn This can cause bloating of stomach and consequent breathlessness. Check with your doctor for adequate control of asthma. Ventolin or salbutamol is a rescue inhaler, that means you take this when you have an episode of Asthma. There are reliever inhalers which work for up to 12 hours after taking each dose. They include salmeterol (brand name Serevent) and formoterol (brand name Atimos). Please discuss this with your doctor am sure he will provide further assistance. Regards.
Avatar n tn I was very wheezy in the a.m. and at night.....he increased my flovent to b.i.d. who am I supposed to believe????? Also, why not...
Avatar m tn The result was non reactive. I inhale sometimes salbutamol because I have asthma. Do you think it can alter the result of the test?
Avatar n tn Do not suppress them, instead cough as often as you can. If you have not already, give your MD a call since this has not cleared up in 2 months. Are you a smoker? Have you recently had the flu, pneumonia?
Avatar n tn Hi, my GP has changed my meds today from seravent, becotide and salbutamol to Symbicort turbohaler. I have never used a turbohaler before and am finding it really hard to "suck" the drug into me! I have read the instructions and followed them to the letter but it just seems really difficult to suck through. Is this normal? or could the turbohaler be faulty? Also does it matter if i hear 2 clicks when loading? Please help as really need it to work!
Avatar n tn Spirometry gave a figure of 82% (blow out in 1 second - cant recall the tech term). Improved about 7% with salbutamol. Suspect I did better than this a few years back. Had a scan (big white donut thing) - normal. Cholestorol normal/good. Apart from this, I'm not unfit - I do sports, jog 5k 4 days a week. I'm trying to find out if this is a) uncontrolled asthma and/or b) lungs settling down after stopping smoking and/or c) early signs of COPD.
1506789 tn?1289768905 symptoms are not enough to come to a exact diagnosis.
726605 tn?1231368596 Do you take these on a daily basis. Medrol is hardcore. What does your doctor say about medrol during pregnancy. I assume you mean albuterol in the nebulizer. I've taken that during pregnancy...but that's when my asthma's been out of control. Sound like the meds you are taking are "short-term". Those aren't anything you would take on a regular basis for controlling asthma. In any event...
1378381 tn?1444866015 I just feel sooo tired of breathing, i need to concentrate soo hard on breathing and its just not giving up. Ive used salbutamol a few times and it seems to help a little. But the worst came on thursday just past. It started (we think an allergic reaction to a sweet, liquirice batons) around 6pm on wednesday night and i couldnt sleep because it was soo much effort to breathe.
