something that looks like someone poked him with a needle so it not the typical cut a razor blade would cause but a poke kind of.

common sense says he is fine as it wasnt something major . also i do clean my razor pretty ok after shaving but a worry is a worry and i cant help it.
called his pediatritionist clinic today and asked i can come in to make sure his antibodies are good from back when he completed the vaccine..

You are most likely having an allergic reaction to whatever shaving cream or lotion you are applying to your legs, assuming you are using a safety razor. It is also possible that you do have extra-sensitive skin and the skin response is to mechanical irritation from the shaving device you are using. You might want to switch to a “non-allergenic” shaving cream/lotion product. On the mechanical side be sure to avoid using any razor that is not ultra-sharp.
Hi-I used a (used) safety razor at a golf course and cut myself. 10 Days later I had throbbing voluntary muscles throughout my body and a sinus issues. The sinus issue cleard up in two weeks, but the throbbing eased into a dull ache-particularly in my right biceps that I've had for 6 months, I was tested thoroughly for HVC (multiple antibody, PCR Qual) and HVB. All negative. My hepatologist has referred me to a neurologist saying the razor was just a coincidence.

Life has become very difficult to carry out due to my mind constantly checking my heart rate, pulse, and this chest pain. These palpitations I have had are unpredictable I get them when I'm relaxed, walking and standing. Once I feel the skipped beat I panic and get scared, so my heart rate increases as if I were running.

Almost every time after I have (unprotected) sex with my girfriend, I get small red bumps (~20-30) on my penis--mostly along the front and sides and lower foreskin-- as well as sometimes a few near my stomach and pubic hair. This has happened maybe 10 times.
Turns out it was razor bumps but since i was picking at them n tryin to pop them i got them infected so they gave me some antibiotic but i did get some blood drawn for safety reasons n will know the results on those by next week
A razor blade, not an electric razor within an hour prior? Yes, that ought to greatly up the risk from oral as a safety blade may have made one or more minute nicks in your skin (not enough to hurt or visibly bleed, but, leaving enough wounding for infected saliva to breach the skin barrier).
Eight weeks does sound long enough though (especially if that's the recommended period).
m just being my usual paranoid self but this is really eating me up alive. I had forgotten my shaving razor when I stayed at a hotel over 3 weekends ago. The hotel staff brought over a disposable one upon my request. Although not packaged (or sealed), the razor appeared to be new and I went ahead used it. I cut very easily when shaving and there was definitely blood from me in this instance.
The Dr who came in and saw me said they caught nothing on the monitor. I then had episodes of this happening twice a day for about a week. I had a holster which should have caught it but at some point just conveniently stopped recording. The Dr said he didn't see afib or the holster but that it looked like a short episode of SVT. My chart now says no svt seen on that holter...?
discovered my heart rate was 38 bmp. Referred to Cardio Doc. He ordered an Echo, Stress Eco and holster monitor. The echo and stress eco were normal according to the Cardio Doc. Holster Monitor (2 Days) showed an avg beat of 44, low 35 and high of 50. If I cannot exercise I feel tired and lightheaded, but I have not passed out yet. He says without passing out he does not recommend a pacemaker at this time. He told me to exercise and come back in a year.

m looking for some advice, I went to a cardiologist about a month ago for fluttering of my heart. They did a stress test and a holster monitor. The holster monitor showed one run of SVT and 800 PAC's which my doctor didn't seem worried about. The stress test wasn't great but not bad. I hit 198 beats after 10 minutes while running. I couldn't afford the echo at the time so I didn't do that but I wish I had.
Razors are somewhat a needle-like object, and it is inevitable that during shaving blood will get onto the razor. Someone who shaves, using a used razor (of someone who is HIV positive), may get cuts while they are shaving that may possibly allow the virus a way to enter into the body. It's probably unlikely, in the first place, that the virus would even survive on a razor... but there is a bit of risk, so why even have that risk when it can be completely avoided?

At 8 days my biceps and triceps began aging-my thighs slightly too. My sinuses became inflamed and cleared up in abt three weeks. My muscles have improved but now at 10 weeks still are a bit weak. . I have had a temperature slighly below normal (98.0) for a while now. I had an HIV rapit test @ 6.5 and again at 9 weeks. Both were negative.
I think that if you are that concerned about the chances that you may catch HCV then you should talk to your friend about your fears. Being honest about our care/responsibility in living around other 's and their safety when we have a disease is important. More than likely you should not be able to get hep C unless it is blood to blood . I gave birth to my children and did not know I had HCV and neither have contracted HCV or the father in the 30 years of having it.
I had this problem last summer before I found out I was expecting. I promise I feel your pain. I had em like 4 different times. 2 under one, 2 under the other. I had to stop shaving so often. & make sure your razor is clean. I also use witch hazel under my arms after I shave before I put on deoderant. If you need relief, use a hot towel to bring it to a head. Then burn tha tip of a safety pin or a needle and stick it in that middle. You will need assistance because it hurts like hell.
i had the test on the holster heart moniter..would that have said if i was having any pvcs,..when i was younger i had these flutters and so did my ex wife alot..are them PVC,s???everyday i get the feeling that im hungry then feel like a very tiny flutter is trying to happen..i have alot of anxiety's..on xanax for that reason..have high blod p on lisinopril and clondine also....tku...
I workout 3-4 days a week and recently saw my doctor which wants me to do a holster monitor and echo in two weeks (after it clears my insurance). Anyone had similar issues? I’m 31 years old, 6’2 male and these arrhythmias at times feel like the heart pauses then skips/flutter some beats taking my breath. Should I still continue workout? Has anyone had similar occurrences? Is there a ways to tell how serious these are?

Ok my 4 year old is stealing everything in sight dispite lectures time out and loss of toys over this. The 18 month old climbs beautifully but isn't quite walking yet. This culminated in the older boy stealing daddy's razor today during bath time and shaving his face chest and butt defore I catch on because I go in to tell him he hastoo much water.
So a few months back I began having heart palpitations which prompted a workul with full bloodwork and urine, holster monitor, echo. All that was found were PACs and PVCs but no major issues. My urine came back abnormal.
My urine came back with microscopic blood 5/hpf. We repeated a urine 2 weeks after my next period which showed RBC 3/hpf. W repeated a third urine 2 weeks after my next period with a urine cytology. Again there was still 3 RBC/hpf and no cancer cells seen on cytology.
I saw my PCP about them back in 2005 and had an echocardiogram, which was normal. She suggested the holster, but at that time I was so busy with career, studies and a 1 year old, and since she said it was probably nothing to worry about and it wasn't so bad, I never had it done, so I don't have confirmation on what it is.
Well, it was all good until monday last week, when they came for apparently no reason (I had surgery so I haven't been excersising) and had not leave since.
