Common Questions and Answers about Rozerem user forum

rozerem

Avatar n tn Lunesta has a slight potential of a person building up a tolerance to it. The sleep aide Rozerem is safe and effective and works to adjust the sleep cycle and has no potential of addiction. If that is a problem for you you might want to ask your psychiatrist about that. Always tell your psychiatrist the exact truth but if you have physical withdrawal symptoms they need to know as those are always of concern.
Avatar f tn Hello! Which sleeping pill is stronger, Belsomra or Rozerem? I take 2 tablets of Belsomra at night for 20 mg plus 2 tablets of Donormil. Should I try Rozerem?
Avatar m tn Has anyone tried taking rozerem to help sleep when tapering? I tried Abien a few years ago and it wired me all night. Last night, I took ,1 clonidine and 2 soma and I just knew that would put me to sleep and all it did was give me a big buzz and i was wired for a few hours. I know I just need some sleep!
789911 tn?1368636783 If you search Dystonia, you can find some discussions on the condition but It is becoming more common and should have an easy to find forum of its own. People suffering with this need help. It is a dibilitating condtion. There is no cure but there are some treatments that work ok for some people for instance botox injections. Please help people with Dystonia by adding it to the forums. Please.
Avatar n tn She also has a sleep disorder that we finally saw a pediatric sleep specialist for-- now she uses a blue spectrum light every morning. Occasionally, we use Rozerem 8mg (prescribed by the peds sleep specialist) --but only occasionally when we are unable to do her light therapy. Is there any connection between sleep disorders & early adrenarche? And is this adrenarche when it is only her axillary area involved?
10389859 tn?1409921868 Weird stuff keeps happening on the forum. I had opened up a new User Forum, and today the title is in white letters so you can't read it, the background is also white, I tried to upload a pic and it's not taking when it should (how long does it take to show up?), and every single day my Interests disappear? Thank you BTW for your previous help. Under User Forum where I created the forum, what does it mean when I alert all members about the group? Does that mean literally everyone?
Avatar f tn Hi, otakugenx, Thanks for your suggestion! I see that you've already found some of our user groups that address LGBTQIA issues, and I hope you're benefiting from them. What sorts of medical/psych forums would you like to see?
Avatar m tn t induce at night but feel sleepy at day time thus disturbing my working days.I want to start with Rozerem for inducing sleep.I wish to take this medication for a month or two and discontinue and get my sleep naturally as usual. Can the sleep disorder rebound after discontinuation? I've also been taking sertraline since many years, could these two drugs interact,if yes what are the effects?
Avatar m tn There are safer sleeping medications such as Lunesta and Rozerem. My concern about Trazadone is the fact that it can cause tardive dyskinesia. If you are not taking it for depression but as a sleep aid you might want to ask your psychiatrist about the two I mentioned. This link is from a psychiatric journal and lists all known medications that can cause tardive dyskinesia and Trazadone is clearly listed as one.
Avatar n tn 30pm sinemet uses low dosage because it looks like impact her falling into sleep even with Rozerem. She used to be able to fall into sleep quickly when took 25/100, but cannot for increased dosage). The strangest is motion: In morning, right after get up but BEFORE sinemet, her walking is steady, no difficult stepping out, speed is slow but ok, no sign of dyskinesia (or not noticeable) Around 1.
Avatar m tn One good option you could ask your psychiatrist about is the medication Rozerem which works to adjust the sleep cycle and is safe and non addictive. There are other options as well but that's one worth asking about. Also it might be a simple matter of timing. If a medication keeps you awake at night you could ask your psychiatrist if you could take it earlier in the day and see if that helps. Discuss all this with them and see what they say.
Avatar m tn It appears to be similar in efficacy and like Ambien is meant for short term use only. Unless you've tried it Rozerem is one alternative that unlike Ambien or the medication you mentioned or Lunesta does not have a potential for a person to build up a tolerance to it and is an FDA approved medication that works like melatonin to adjust the sleep cycle. You could ask your psychiatrist about that.
603015 tn?1329862973 I believe according to one post I saw melatonin is not available in Canada anymore because it is unsafe. Rozerem however, is an FDA approved medication. I was informed by my psychopharmocologist that Rozerem is completely non addictive and works differently from all other known sleep aides though you could look at the medication website and ask your own psychiatrist to confirm.
Avatar f tn I have chronic insomnia amid anxiety disorder. Can I use Rozerem at a dosage of 16 mg if 8 mg will not help?
12080135 tn?1453627571 I've just posted a thread in the 'improve medhelp suggestions' community forum regarding the relocating of active community discussions cause "it's just simply more efficient", which is as far as i'm concerned still a site issue lol i've requesting they support our community by leaving these site discussion within the MS community, 'it's just simply more beneficial' to the community and i've also volunteered to keep the mods updated if that will
975514 tn?1324997938 I always notice more people ask questions that day after I get this notification? Any more experienced user insights would be appreciated. Thanks.
Avatar f tn Trazodone or Rozerem but, in the end, none of them are a solution to insomnia because they don;t work well in the short term and stop working in the long-term. CBT is the only permanent, effective solution. Dr. Jacobs www.cbtforinsomnia.
Avatar f tn s in the long run but the effect can be masked while it is occuring and should not be given for assistance with sleeping for this reason. Lunesta and Rozerem are known sleep aides that are safe and effective and can be taken every day especially Rozerem which is derived from Melatonin and helps regulate the sleep cycle.
Avatar f tn First, go to My MedHelp at the top right and then click on your Profile. There should be a box on your Profile page titled "Communities". To the right of each Group (or Community forum) there should be a Leave button with an X in it. Click that and you will leave the Group associated with that Leave link, and your list of Groups should shrink. I may be missing something however, since it looks like you have a "Join" button by each Group in your list.
Avatar f tn I support this idea for a Hepatitis C/trial research discussions in a group/forum format. There are many of us on the Hepatitis C message boards who are going through clinical trials, or who have been through them in the past and I think that kind of a group would be helpful. It may also free up the regular Hepatitis C message board for the other people who are on FDA approved Hepatitis C medications.
Avatar n tn Can anyone let me know if Rozerem 8mg (RX sleep aid) and Prozac 20 mg (antidepressant) are safe to take with methadone (15mg daily) I am detoxing after 15 years on MMT and have slowly "tapered" my dose from 60mg daily to 15mg daily. I am having some insomnia & depression/antiety issues related to my husband being on the waiting list for a liver transplant. Just want to make sure i'm not gonna "croak" if I take the other meds.
Avatar f tn Hello! Can I take Belsomra and Rozerem together if the effect of one drug is not enough?
