rozerem

Avatar f tn Hello! Which sleeping pill is stronger, Belsomra or Rozerem? I take 2 tablets of Belsomra at night for 20 mg plus 2 tablets of Donormil. Should I try Rozerem?
Avatar m tn Has anyone tried taking rozerem to help sleep when tapering? I tried Abien a few years ago and it wired me all night. Last night, I took ,1 clonidine and 2 soma and I just knew that would put me to sleep and all it did was give me a big buzz and i was wired for a few hours. I know I just need some sleep!
Avatar f tn Due to insurance changes, my doc has changed me to Luvox CR. My usual dose of Luvox is 150 mg once a day. The Luvox CR comes in 100 mg capsules. Would it be okay to take 200 mg of Luvox CR on one day and 100 mg of Luvox CR the next, and alternate since I can't divide the capsules? Thank you.
Avatar n tn Withdrawal symptoms are highest with Zoloft and Luvox. However, due to lower protein binding in blood, Luvox gets cleared from the body pretty fast compared to Lexapro and Zoloft, so withdrawal symptoms can abate faster. So Zoloft and Luvox are comparable in terms of effect and use, with Zoloft having a wider clinical application. However, both are necessary to treat anxiety, depression and OCD and the benefits of their treating these disorders outweigh their side effects.
Avatar n tn She also has a sleep disorder that we finally saw a pediatric sleep specialist for-- now she uses a blue spectrum light every morning. Occasionally, we use Rozerem 8mg (prescribed by the peds sleep specialist) --but only occasionally when we are unable to do her light therapy. Is there any connection between sleep disorders & early adrenarche? And is this adrenarche when it is only her axillary area involved?
Avatar f tn I was recently prescribed Rozerem for anxiety and panic attacks starting dosage of 15mg. then eventually up to 30 mg.. It really put me to sleep my first few days .I am scared to increase the dosage to 10 mg.. My concern is after the sedation wears off, will I have to increase the dosage and will my body grow dependent on it for sleep. I ask my psychiatrist and he said it should not.
Avatar f tn Has anyone on here been on Luvox? I asked my doc if I could be on it, I've done some research on it and it seems like it works great for OCD. She said it would take about 2 weeks to work. I have OCD and have a fears that I once molested a child....they feel so real and horrible. I'm on other meds as well for this including anxiety. I just wanted to know if anyone on here has been on it and if so how you're doing with it. Thanks.
1041243 tn?1375230520 I've been on Luvox before, it worked great for me at first but then after a month, maybe less it stopped working, but thats probably because I wasn't doing therapy along with it.
497950 tn?1255863927 I went to the pdoc yesterday. She wants me to try luvox. Anyone had experience with it? Did it work? I told her I was really worried about gaining weight on it and it making me a zombie so I hope that doesn't happen. She said she's never seen anyone gain weight on it. I am a runner too so that should combat any weight gain I hope. I am very excited about something actually working for me. I got more klonopin too for the anxiety so I can function until it works.
Avatar m tn t induce at night but feel sleepy at day time thus disturbing my working days.I want to start with Rozerem for inducing sleep.I wish to take this medication for a month or two and discontinue and get my sleep naturally as usual. Can the sleep disorder rebound after discontinuation? I've also been taking sertraline since many years, could these two drugs interact,if yes what are the effects?
Avatar n tn Recently I started taking an antipsychotic called Latuda, it was 1 pill of 40mg a day, I only took it for 6 days, so that's 6 pills, and then I changed my mind about taking them because of the fear of side effects, the main fear I have is that they can prolonge QT intervals. I decided to go back to the pill I use to take instead which is Luvox, which is an SSRI.
Avatar m tn One good option you could ask your psychiatrist about is the medication Rozerem which works to adjust the sleep cycle and is safe and non addictive. There are other options as well but that's one worth asking about. Also it might be a simple matter of timing. If a medication keeps you awake at night you could ask your psychiatrist if you could take it earlier in the day and see if that helps. Discuss all this with them and see what they say.
Avatar m tn It appears to be similar in efficacy and like Ambien is meant for short term use only. Unless you've tried it Rozerem is one alternative that unlike Ambien or the medication you mentioned or Lunesta does not have a potential for a person to build up a tolerance to it and is an FDA approved medication that works like melatonin to adjust the sleep cycle. You could ask your psychiatrist about that.
Avatar f tn I suffer from OCD and have tried numerous serotonin meds, all of which I have had extreme side effects. My doctor put me on Cymbalta, but I have notices increased weight gain. I recently lost quite a bit of weight and no have put back on 15 lbs. She has suggested I try Luvox, but don't know if I should or not. I worked so hard to lose this weight and don't want to gain any more. I am at a loss of what decision to make.
603015 tn?1329862973 I believe according to one post I saw melatonin is not available in Canada anymore because it is unsafe. Rozerem however, is an FDA approved medication. I was informed by my psychopharmocologist that Rozerem is completely non addictive and works differently from all other known sleep aides though you could look at the medication website and ask your own psychiatrist to confirm.
Avatar m tn I have always suffered from anxiety and panic attacks. For 10 years I was on Luvox with pretty good results. After ten years I started having tinnitus and visual anomalies, like while driving down the road I couldn't look at the things passing by because it started to make me feel dizzy. Then one night after about a week of switching manufactures for my Luvox, I rolled over in bed and it seemed everything else came a second later.
Avatar n tn My fiancé suffers from severe anxiety and has been taking 250 mg of Luvox daily. He is extremely exhausted. He can not even stand up, drive or be social involved. Feeling this way is even making him depressed and have no motivation. He already lowered the Luvox dosage a few times already. Is this medicine for him?
Avatar n tn Initially was on klonopin, respidol, and then luvox for eight years then weaned off all medications. In those eight years never had a problem with sex. My dosages were 2mg klonopin,1mg respidol, and 100 mg luvox.I had a case of performance anxiety when I was off the meds with a new girl and it sent my ocd into a fenzy. Took Viagra no problem went back on klonopin and luvox and didnt need viagra. Had another case of performance anxiety two years later and my obsessions started again.
Avatar f tn I was hoping you might add "anti-depressant" to the treatment section. I'm currently taking Fluvoxamine (Luvox) so I'm using "prozac" as a stand in, but I think a generic option for anti-depressants, or SSRIs would be helpful.
1041243 tn?1375230520 A week ago my psychiatrist stopped my 200 mgs of zoloft and started me on luvox 50 mgs a day for the first two weeks then 100 mgs a day there after. A couple days later I started expiriencing major withdrawal symptoms, severe anxiety and panic (more so than usual), insomnia, and some slight agoraphobia (I don't like to leave the house, but I will if I need too) and even stronger ocd symptoms.
286686 tn?1416012340 He is on 300mg of Anafranil since December and started Luvox at the end of December and doctor has been increasing the luvox, so he is now on 300mg of luvox as of two days ago. This is the strange part.....every time the doctor increased one of these meds, my son can feel a difference (thoughts are not that intrusive or severe), but this only lasts about 3-4 days and then he feels that he is back to where he started at the lower dose of 50mg.
Avatar n tn has anyone here ever been on LUVOX? any luck? Im on celexa for depression and anxiety and OCD. its helping my depression and anxiety, but not really touching my OCD like my doctor had hoped. He upped my dose last week and Im going to give it a few weeks to see, but if it doesnt seem to be working, Im going to ask him about luvox.
Avatar f tn Ok i am on luvox and alot of other meds. My main concern is that the luvox will counteract the adderall in some way. Does any one have any experince with this or can give me some info on how luvoz has worked for them?
Avatar f tn I have chronic insomnia amid anxiety disorder. Can I use Rozerem at a dosage of 16 mg if 8 mg will not help?
Avatar f tn Hi. I have panic disorder. Took Celexa for 7 years and it pooped out. Pdoc prescribed Luvox. Have taken that for five months and it's just not doing the trick. Still have anxiety and breakthrough panic attacks. He has given me the choice of lexapro or Zoloft. Since Celexa and lexapro are so similar, I'm concerned that the lexapro won't work given that the Celexa stopped working.
