Common Questions and Answers about Rozerem kaiser

rozerem

Avatar f tn Hello! Which sleeping pill is stronger, Belsomra or Rozerem? I take 2 tablets of Belsomra at night for 20 mg plus 2 tablets of Donormil. Should I try Rozerem?
Avatar m tn Has anyone tried taking rozerem to help sleep when tapering? I tried Abien a few years ago and it wired me all night. Last night, I took ,1 clonidine and 2 soma and I just knew that would put me to sleep and all it did was give me a big buzz and i was wired for a few hours. I know I just need some sleep!
Avatar n tn She also has a sleep disorder that we finally saw a pediatric sleep specialist for-- now she uses a blue spectrum light every morning. Occasionally, we use Rozerem 8mg (prescribed by the peds sleep specialist) --but only occasionally when we are unable to do her light therapy. Is there any connection between sleep disorders & early adrenarche? And is this adrenarche when it is only her axillary area involved?
Avatar m tn t induce at night but feel sleepy at day time thus disturbing my working days.I want to start with Rozerem for inducing sleep.I wish to take this medication for a month or two and discontinue and get my sleep naturally as usual. Can the sleep disorder rebound after discontinuation? I've also been taking sertraline since many years, could these two drugs interact,if yes what are the effects?
9358102 tn?1418673367 Got a call from Kaiser.. I'm being put on a preterm prevention program.. they will call me every week to see how my pregnancy is progressing.. Anyone else been on a program like this ..
Avatar m tn One good option you could ask your psychiatrist about is the medication Rozerem which works to adjust the sleep cycle and is safe and non addictive. There are other options as well but that's one worth asking about. Also it might be a simple matter of timing. If a medication keeps you awake at night you could ask your psychiatrist if you could take it earlier in the day and see if that helps. Discuss all this with them and see what they say.
Avatar m tn It appears to be similar in efficacy and like Ambien is meant for short term use only. Unless you've tried it Rozerem is one alternative that unlike Ambien or the medication you mentioned or Lunesta does not have a potential for a person to build up a tolerance to it and is an FDA approved medication that works like melatonin to adjust the sleep cycle. You could ask your psychiatrist about that.
603015 tn?1329862973 I believe according to one post I saw melatonin is not available in Canada anymore because it is unsafe. Rozerem however, is an FDA approved medication. I was informed by my psychopharmocologist that Rozerem is completely non addictive and works differently from all other known sleep aides though you could look at the medication website and ask your own psychiatrist to confirm.
Avatar f tn I have chronic insomnia amid anxiety disorder. Can I use Rozerem at a dosage of 16 mg if 8 mg will not help?
Avatar f tn Trazodone or Rozerem but, in the end, none of them are a solution to insomnia because they don;t work well in the short term and stop working in the long-term. CBT is the only permanent, effective solution. Dr. Jacobs www.cbtforinsomnia.
Avatar f tn s in the long run but the effect can be masked while it is occuring and should not be given for assistance with sleeping for this reason. Lunesta and Rozerem are known sleep aides that are safe and effective and can be taken every day especially Rozerem which is derived from Melatonin and helps regulate the sleep cycle.
Avatar f tn I have Kaiser insurance and was wondering howmuch the copay was for labor for those who have kaiser as well.
4331946 tn?1355816857 Hey if any of u guys have kaiser do u kno if they have the equipment to b able to tell the sex of the bby if theybdo how early u guys think they can tell??
Avatar n tn Can anyone let me know if Rozerem 8mg (RX sleep aid) and Prozac 20 mg (antidepressant) are safe to take with methadone (15mg daily) I am detoxing after 15 years on MMT and have slowly "tapered" my dose from 60mg daily to 15mg daily. I am having some insomnia & depression/antiety issues related to my husband being on the waiting list for a liver transplant. Just want to make sure i'm not gonna "croak" if I take the other meds.
Avatar f tn Hello! Can I take Belsomra and Rozerem together if the effect of one drug is not enough?
Avatar m tn There are safer sleeping medications such as Lunesta and Rozerem. My concern about Trazadone is the fact that it can cause tardive dyskinesia. If you are not taking it for depression but as a sleep aid you might want to ask your psychiatrist about the two I mentioned. This link is from a psychiatric journal and lists all known medications that can cause tardive dyskinesia and Trazadone is clearly listed as one.
741315 tn?1232458427 Ambien is not meant for everyday use as a sleeping aide as it can be addictive. Lunesta or Rozerem are two better choices. Rozerem works in the same manner as Melatonin and actually adjusts the sleep cycle. Those are some ideas to speak to your psychiatrist about.
Avatar f tn I'm a Kaiser member , but I haven't gone yet for my appointment so I hope it doesnt go the same for me :/
Avatar f tn I was going to suggest UC Davis MS Center until you mentioned you have Kaiser. I really feel for you. I had my last child at Kaiser in Sacramento and that was a sad, very sad experience. I can understand why you aren't thrilled with your neuro. Have you thought of asking one of the nurses in neurology at Kaiser about a good neuro? I find that nurses referrals are the best you can ever get. They know who is worthwhile and who to stay away from.
Avatar f tn Best to ask your doc this question, as that person has examined you and knows your full med history. Suggest continuing to work on your anxiety disorder and as you make progress expect your sleep to improve. Ask also about using a CBT sleep training program as a permanent, sustainable, and substance-free solution.
1436969 tn?1283789124 There is no way Kaiser is going to do any sort of surgery on our son. Before leaving the Kaiser Neurologist, Dr. Nelson at Roseville, CA he made a statement to us that he wanted to WAIT and SEE him in a year. The MRI showed his tonsils at 16mm with all the classic symptoms of Malformation Chiari and he was diagnosed with M. Chiari I. Kaiser has been shrugging us off since our little boy was 18 months old and collapsed.
201379 tn?1319991331 m looking at maybe switching to Kaiser. When I was being screened for a transplant at Univ of Colorado several years back, I remember one woman in the group was referred by Kaiser because they didn't have a transplant center of their own. Is anyone currently being seen at UCH and on the transplant waiting list that has Kaiser for their insurance?
7390706 tn?1403042270 Do any of you ladies have Kaiser Permanente? I'm having trouble finding an ob.. My husband just got this insurance.
Avatar n tn Does anyone here has kaiser insurance? do you know if kaiser covers this drug? and if so how much you guys are paying?
