I have a 22month old client with a trach and g-tube and she had rotavirus, this was like 2 weeks ago, causes diarrhea, i didnt go in to work while she had bcuz i didnt want to get anything on me and give it to Trinity. But ever since she has been in daycare she always get sick, now she has given her cold to me and LaDell, we both started taking vitamin c to hopefully prevent us from getting sick.

Every child is different even in the same family. It is good to hear she eats well. Sometimes children need extra calories and protein to help them gain weight and grow. Suggest giving her milkshakes (milk, ice cream and fruit blended) or yogurt smoothies (yogurt, fruit, and ice cream blended) at every meal or in place of milk for the additional calories to help her gain weight. My son is 2 months and just received his first shots yesterday including the rotavirus vaccine. I noticed that after his shots and today he has been pooping yellow colored like normal but it is very chunky. He is exclusively breast fed and always has a little bit of a seedy stool but this is very chunky. I'm Just curious if anyone knows if this is normal or not. Could it be from the rotavirus vaccine because they do ingest it. Thanks.

s safer to space out the vaccinations as opposed to piling 5 in one visit, per the CDC schedule. Is your baby in daycare? If in daycare, I think DTaP and HIB are good to start with. I did not do Rotavirus or Pc.

First, I havent heard of explosive behavior disorder. (in children) In adults, this type of thing would show up as an Axis II personality disorder. In children, particularly 4 (very young for this kind of diagnosis, ADD/ADHD as well - and I would hold off on the meds until a second or third opinion is obtained..cheaper than treatment I'm sure...)
