Hi, Not sure about everyone else but I know that for me the restless legs is one of the worst symptoms. I told my doctor that I was struggling and he prescribed me Ropinirole tablets, one to take before bedtime. I took one last night and, fingers crossed, it seemed to work. Most of you are probably aware of this but for those who aren't, it might be worth a try.

Seeking the small town, farm, slow pace and American dream of life. Digging in deep with enjoying the mild winter and active from dawn to dusk. Hello! My son is 4month 10days today. My son was born in indonesia and uptill 3months he had his vacvinations in indonesia itself. Since one month i have come to india for vaccation and his 4month vaccination for DTP- HIB and Polio is pending. I m concerned about getting him vaccinated here in india as brand for vaccination will be different from indonesia.
Is it ok if i get my son vaccinated with different brand in india?
I have suffered from a form of restless leg for over 20 years, when my brain wants to relax especially at bed time, my leg muscles in top & bottom start to go into spasm, causing my legs to kick out. Its so sever that if prevents me from falling asleep. I am on tablets called Ropinerol they work to a point but the older I get the worse the spasms get.

So right now I am currently taking ziprasidone 80 mg, chantix 1mg, topamax 50mg 3x day, and ropinirole for side effects 1 mg once a day. I can't believe I actually made it through the night last night. I had some psychosis and was up all night long, but laying and I had the shakes at first but I'm actually proud I made it through the night without popping that pill. Took my medicine this morning and slept for about 5 hours and no psychosis, hallucinations or anything.
Get a sleep consult, a sleep study (in lab, unfortunately) and a [while you are waiting, talk to your PCP] prescription for Ropinirole. Starting dosage is around 0.5mg but it depends on your physiology. They may try Mirapex, Gabapentin, or other drugs. You should also avoid caffeine as much as you can, as this will aggravate the hell out of this.
